As the 3rd leading cause of death globally (excluding COVID-19), COPD costs millions of lives, strains health systems, and burdens economies worldwide. It needs prioritisation. Transthyretin-mediated amyloid cardiomyopathy (ATTR-CM) is an underrecognised cause of heart failure (HF). If left untreated, ATTR-CM can lead to health complications, making early detection critical to improving health outcomes. Through novel artificial intelligence-enabled diagnostics, we are revealing the red flags that raise suspicion of ATTR-CM in patients sooner.
