Trailblazing women's football team spotted in Coach H 👏👀 Say hello to the Manchester Corinthian Ladies FC. Founded in 1949, at a time when women's football faced severe restrictions, this pioneering team built an incredible legacy at home and abroad. These fearless ladies paved the way for women's football as we know it today by refusing to accept the limits placed upon them. Train Manager Olga and her team were delighted to welcome them onboard on their way to pick up a lifetime achievement award at the National Women's Football Awards. The team at Euston Station were thrilled to welcome a real-life hero onboard 🫶 Manny Singh Kang is a Wolverhampton local who has been making headlines with his incredible fundraising efforts. This year, he walked through the night from his hometown to London without sleep, before completing the London Marathon, raising £84,000 for charity in the process. He is also famous locally for his regular Samosa Saturday fundraising events on matchdays in Wolverhampton. What an inspiration! #AvantiWestCoast #Community #LondonMarathon #Railway

We're still recovering from the excitement of welcoming Stockport's very own Blossoms to the station last week. They popped in to admire our shiny new artwork dedicated to the town’s music history. Five lads from Stockport, four number one albums, and still showing love to their hometown where it all began. Thank you to our partners Crewe to Manchester and South East Manchester Community Rail Partnerships (CRP) for helping us celebrate Stockport's incredible music legacy.

This is train driver Dan and his daughter Grace. Grace ran the London Marathon this weekend to raise money for Molly Ollys. This amazing charity supports young people with life-threatening illnesses and made a huge difference to Grace during her recovery from cancer. But Dan isn't just a regular Dad, he's a train driver Dad. So we helped him support Grace in the coolest way possible by arranging for him to drive the train she took down to London for the race 🙌 Well done Grace, you smashed it!
