Yesterday, the Women’s Six Nations came to Aviva Stadium for the first time ever. And beyond the result and the atmosphere, it felt like a milestone moment for women’s sport in Ireland. Not as an afterthought. Not as a side event. But as the main stage. At Riley, we believe that if we want women’s sport to grow, the experience around it has to evolve too. That’s why we were proud to partner with Aviva Ireland to make free sustainable Riley period products available across the Aviva Stadium in the female bathrooms, accessible bathrooms, player and referee changing rooms. All of it. Because period care shouldn’t be something people have to plan around “just in case.” Our recent research with Aviva Ireland found that 82% of women in Ireland have struggled to access period products in public venues. Yet nobody questions whether there’ll be soap or toilet paper available. Those are seen as essentials. Period care should be too. A huge congratulations to every player who stepped onto the pitch and helped make history yesterday. The energy, talent and atmosphere showed exactly why women’s sport deserves the biggest stages.
