For years, there’s been a myth that #AI translation would make language learning obsolete. But it hasn't. As organisations become more global, AI-powered, and cross-functional, #communication has become even more critical. At the ASU+GSV Summit 2026, Busuu GM Karine Allouche shared why English is no longer a soft skill, but a core business necessity for modern organisations. As companies evolve into flatter, 'diamond-shaped' structures, the ability to collaborate across borders, cultures, and functions is becoming a competitive advantage. And in a world where AI is accelerating work, the people who can communicate clearly, navigate cultural nuance, and work globally will stand out even more. AI might help us translate words, but human connection, cultural understanding, and collaboration still require shared language. Find all 3 lessons in the full discussion. At Talent Day Madrid 2026, one theme was clear: HR and L&D teams are being asked to 'show their work' when it comes to learning programmes, not just talk about it. Across conversations on #AI adoption, skills-based planning, employee experience and corporate learning, the shift was consistent: learning has to move from knowledge to #behaviour change. 👉 Leaders are now asking: Are employees using what they learned? Are managers reinforcing it? Are language programmes building connected, confident teams, or just ticking a box? Language #training has moved from a perk to a tool for inclusion, global collaboration and building teams that can actually work together. If you'd like to read more on these topics, you can find the link to one of our latest articles in the comments. The real question for L&D in 2026 is "Did anything change?" 💙 Thanks to Equipos y Talento for the amazing organisation and to our dream team: Paula Landínez, Marta E., Karla Davila Teran, Olivia Sauzey, Valentina Perez Torres and Noelia Fernández. And above all, to the brilliant panellists Diana Lodín from Generali and Verónica Barrera Toro from Saint-Gobain. #TalentDay #HR #LearningAndDevelopment #FutureOfWork #CorporateLearning #LanguageTraining #Busuu

#TalentDay #LearningAndDevelopment #FutureOfWork #CorporateLearning #Busuu #HR #RRHH

What actually changes when global #retail teams build communication confidence? It leads to: • Smoother onboarding across markets. • Better in-store customer experiences. • Clearer internal communication. • More engaged customer-facing teams. In global environments, this has a direct link to #performance. We're not talking about language levels. 💡 It's time to measure #learning outcomes in work behaviour, not just level completion.

👉 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁’𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗶𝗴𝗴𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗴𝗹𝗼𝗯𝗮𝗹 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺𝘀? At the recent #FHMAD26, we discussed why global teams often fail to reach their full potential. The takeaway? It’s not diversity, it’s what happens after. From ensuring every voice is heard to overcoming language barriers and creating truly inclusive environments, the conversation highlighted a key truth: 💎 Communication isn’t a soft skill. It’s business infrastructure. A big thank you to FACTOR HUMANO información y eventos for the invitation, to Marta E. (Busuu) for moderating the session, and to our amazing speakers for such an honest and insightful discussion: ✨ Teresa Silva Ginel (Telpark) ✨ Verónica Martín (Holcim España) ✨ Mar Romero (Alsea) ✨ Adriana del Pilar Chisco (Rentokil Initial) It's always a pleasure to be part of such a relevant space for #HR leaders. Now we’d love to hear your experience. What’s been the hardest part of making global teams actually work? #HRInsights #GlobalTeams #Busuu #FactorHumanoMadrid #RRHH

👉 ¿𝐐𝐮𝐞́ 𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐚́ 𝐟𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐨 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞 𝐞𝐧 𝐥𝐨𝐬 𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐩𝐨𝐬 𝐠𝐥𝐨𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐬 𝐪𝐮𝐞 𝐧𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐞 𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐚́ 𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐨 𝐞𝐧 𝐯𝐨𝐳 𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐚?
