Secrets of the rose geranium harvest. Rose geranium is harvested close to the ground in order to preserve the full power of its scent. Its leaves are what make it so special: cut, processed, and distilled with patience and precision. Luck leaves nothing to chance, and therefore it must be cultivated like a secret formula, revealing the magnetic notes of CHANCE EAU SPLENDIDE. This expertise in alchemy is wielded by Olivier Polge, CHANEL In-House Perfumer Creator. Discover on chanel.com/-GRASSE_26

Introducing the 2026 winners of the CHANEL Next Prize. The Next Prize is a biennial award that champions contemporary artists who are redefining their disciplines. This year, the prize recognises 10 visionary artists from 10 different countries, working across visual art, performance, design, music, and film. A catalyst for innovation, the Next Prize grants the artists the time, space, and resources to tackle ambitious new projects. Selected by a jury of cultural leaders, each winner receives 100,000€ in unrestricted funding and joins a two-year mentorship and networking programme, facilitated by cultural partners of the House. Established by CHANEL Culture Fund and now in its third edition, the Next Prize continues the House’s century-long commitment to the arts—a legacy that began with Gabrielle Chanel’s support of avant-garde pioneers, from Salvador Dalí to Jean Cocteau. Curated by Émilie Hammen, Marie-Laure Gutton and Samy Jelil, the exhibition highlights the savoir-faire used to embellish, adorn and accessorise garments through the theme of the flower, which is dear to the House. Showcasing different techniques to decorate pieces, the exhibition also pays tribute to the skilled artisans who bring the creations to life. On this occasion, pieces from Atelier Montex, MAISON DESRUES, Goossens Paris, MAISON LEMARIÉ, and LESAGE PARIS, Maisons d’art residing at le19M, are displayed. CHANEL is honoured to partner with Palais Galliera, musée de la Mode de Paris for this exhibition running from 13th December 2025 to 18th October 2026.
