    Today is world inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) day. Conversations around IBD often focus on Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis. Yet beyond classical IBD, there are also rarer and less discussed inflammatory bowel conditions that highlight the complexity of gastrointestinal inflammation. Bernadette joins us as a Principal Editor, bringing over 20 years of editorial experience, including more than 15 years in medical communications.  She has extensive experience in editing across a wide range of therapy areas, supporting both publications and medical affairs. Earlier in her career, she worked in educational publishing and is a published author of four textbooks, as well as a former lecturer. Jaida joins us as a US Account Executive, bringing experience across healthcare communications and public relations. She studied communication and media studies at Pace University. Before joining Cognite, Jaida worked across a range of client accounts, building experience in account management, client services and cross-team collaboration. She has supported teams across multiple workstreams, contributing to project delivery, stakeholder communication and problem-solving in fast-paced environments.   • We’re excited that Olivia Hart is joining Cognite in our pursuit of bringing science to life for our clients’ transformative medicines. Joining us as Principal Strategy Director, Olivia brings over 10 years of experience in healthcare communications, alongside an MSc in bioprocessing, biotechnology and business management from the University of Warwick. Olivia is a healthcare brand strategist who has led global initiatives to drive behaviour change across oncology, cardiovascular, respiratory and rare diseases. She takes a channel-agnostic approach, applying behavioural science principles across both traditional and innovative channels. She also brings strong experience in rare haematology and a particular interest in behaviour change frameworks to support patients and clinicians, which she has recently developed further through study at University College London. Rosie joins us as Learning & Engagement Strategy Director, bringing over a decade of experience across healthcare communications, learning and development, and employee engagement. She holds a BSc in neuroscience from the University of Manchester and has further training in applied neuroscience. Rosie’s work focuses on designing learning and engagement initiatives that unlock opportunities to upskill and inspire teams. With her background in neuroscience, she develops impactful learning solutions and scientific communications that support capability, well-being and performance, helping clients get the most out of their teams. Outside work, Rosie is training for her black belt in kung fu and enjoys long walks with her Border Terrier Evie.     We’re delighted that Olive Court is joining Cognite in our pursuit of bringing science to life for our clients’ transformative medicines.  Olive joins us as a Senior Account Executive, bringing a background in medical neuroscience from the University of Sussex. Her studies gave her a strong understanding of the brain and neurological diseases, alongside experience in research-led methods and data analysis. Before joining Cognite, Olive worked across a range of healthcare areas, including consumer health, aesthetics, devices and diagnostics. Her experience covers client partnerships, business development and project coordination, supporting educational and promotional projects end to end and translating detailed scientific information into practical, real-world content. Outside of work, Olive enjoys keeping active through yoga and running, and she is currently learning salsa dancing. She also loves travelling, discovering new places and trying new food along the way.     We’re thrilled that Jay Williams has joined Cognite in our pursuit of bringing science to life for our clients’ transformative medicines. Jay joins us as a Senior Medical Editor and brings extensive experience in editorial leadership across journalism, pharmaceutical marketing and scientific communications. He holds a Bachelor of Science in journalism from the University of Kansas. Jay’s strong background in both digital and print media started with many years as a writer and editor with newspapers. He then moved on to event media, covering medical association meetings and scientific education sessions, building broad expertise in editing, writing and digital publishing. In recent years, Jay has applied this experience to pharmaceutical marketing, working closely with teams to review and refine scientific and promotional content. He focuses on making sure complex material is clear, accurate and aligned with the right audience and client objectives. Outside of work, Jay enjoys golf, reading and tending to a small olive orchard he is developing around his home in Oregon.
