⚡ NDI Cell Accuracy Test Our NDI (Non-Destructive Inspection) cell undergoes rigid body movement accuracy testing before it even touches a customer part. Our metrology team performs a synchronized tracker measurement to validate system precision and gauge the overall performance of the robot team. By closing the loop with high-resolution feedback, we ensure: • Repeatable millimeter-and-below accuracy • Confidence in complex inspection paths • Higher reliability on first-article and production parts Stay tuned for more news about our NDI system in the near future! It was an absolute delight to visit Aerospace Wales Forum Ltd member company Electroimpact UK today as they welcomed Secretary of State for Wales Jo Stevens and Llywodraeth Cymru / Welsh Government Cabinet Secretary for Transport and North Wales Ken Skates. Craig Turnbull led the discussions, showcasing the extraordinary work they undertake in the Aerospace, Defence and Space sectors and included an impressive tour of their high bay facilities. It was great to hear from Ben, on a work placement, who has learnt this week to 3D print a pen holder and programme a robot to write his name!

He began his journey at Coleg Cambria, where he discovered his passion for hands-on learning through an apprenticeship. Now, with the support of his employer Electroimpact UK, WorldSkills UK Training Manager Adam, and countless hours spent perfecting his craft, Tomas is chasing excellence on a European stage. Tomas said, “Training with WorldSkills UK has taken my apprenticeship to the next level. It’s boosted my technical skills, but just as importantly, it’s built my confidence.” Tomas is a great example of how WorldSkills UK Competitions develop more than just technical expertise.
