About us
Here at Farrow & Ball, we're dedicated to creating a range of richly pigmented paints and handcrafted wallpapers, using only the highest-quality ingredients. Still rooted in Dorset, England, our palette is available in a full range of high-performance interior and exterior finishes. Deepening from subtle neutrals to dark inky hues, our paint is blended with up to five pigments for an extraordinary depth of colour. It’s also here that we craft each roll of our wallpaper with Farrow & Ball paint and responsibly sourced paper. Our traditional printing methods give an exquisitely tactile, almost three-dimensional finish as you seamlessly combine paint and paper in the same space. It began in 1946 with local pioneers John Farrow and Richard Ball. Our founders were groundbreaking in their pursuit of only the finest quality ingredients. From then on, our laboratory forged cutting-edge methods for testing the exceptional colour and performance of our paint finishes. Today the unique Farrow & Ball look transforms modern and traditional homes, large and small, inside and out, around the world. Even with more than 60 showrooms worldwide and a global network of stockists, we’ve never forgotten our local Dorset roots.

We're proud to have supported Tracey Emin: A Second Life at Tate Modern, a landmark presentation of the groundbreaking work of world-renowned artist Dame Tracey Emin. The exhibition showcases 40 years of Emin’s pioneering work, spotlighting acclaimed pieces alongside work never exhibited before. Across mediums including painting, video, textile and sculpture, Emin continues to unapologetically challenge boundaries: from the personal and the public to discussions on the female body, love and trauma. The deep, atmospheric tones of Stiffkey Blue creates a powerful backdrop that amplifies the emotional intensity and visual impact of Emin’s work. The exhibition is on view until 31st August 2026. 1. Design Miami 2025: Winner of Best Curio We were delighted to collaborate with Superhouse and Studio AHEAD on the scenography for American Art Furniture: 1980–1990 at this year's Design Miami fair. The booth was painted in Graupel and marked the debut of our new Flat Eggshell finish. This innovative matte finish brings together quiet elegance and impressive durability, creating a seamless look that moves beautifully from walls to floors. Together, we reimagined Greek Revival gallery columns through colour, texture, and a touch of Northern California spirit. The result celebrated the bold experimentation of 1980s American art furniture, and we are thrilled that it was awarded Best Curio of the Year.
