They Did It! 🥳 Haybury’s Coastal Marathon Completed Last weekend, our amazing team conquered their first-ever coastal hiking marathon – a physically demanding challenge that tested endurance, teamwork and determination. We couldn’t be prouder of their achievement! Haybury’s Coastal Marathon for Alzheimer's 🧠 This October, the Haybury team will take on an epic coastal hiking marathon 🚶 This will be our first marathon and it will put us through our paces with its physically demanding route, which we are committed to conquering together for a special cause that is close to our hearts.    We are undertaking this challenge for #WorldAlzheimersMonth in support of Alzheimer's Disease International (ADI), a global organisation dedicated to improving the lives of people affected by dementia. Every step we take is for those living with Alzheimer’s and the families who support them. Their mission is to:   🚀 Strengthen and support Alzheimer’s associations  🗣️ Raise awareness about dementia worldwide  🌍 Make dementia a global health priority  🫴 Empower people living with dementia and their care partners  📈 Increase investment in dementia research    Every 3 seconds, someone in the world develops dementia. The number of people living with dementia around the world is over 50 million, which is expected almost to double every 20 years, reaching 152 million by 2050.
