A winning effort for a great cause! 🏆 The RPS team, alongside our Tetra Tech colleagues at Providence Consulting, took on Legacy Canberra's Majura Military Megarace over the weekend, tackling a 6km obstacle course to support veterans and their families. With four teams competing, there was plenty to celebrate, including a second consecutive race victory and some outstanding individual fundraising achievements. As a proud partner of Legacy Australia, we're delighted to see our people coming together to support such an important cause. Huge congrats to RPS' own Abbey Moore, who received a commendation at the recent QUT (Queensland University of Technology) Planning Students Association Awards! The award recognises the important work Abbey has done as part of her thesis, looking at how planning mechanisms can work for or against Brisbane's live music scene. It's a subject she's professionally invested in as a planner, and personally interested in as a passionate live music punter. With more than 1,300 venues closing nationwide since the pandemic and the 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games on the horizon, how we make culture and liveability central to development decision-making in Brisbane is a big question. What a great few days at Land Forces International Land Defence Exposition 2026. As part of Tetra Tech, it’s been fantastic to join our colleagues from Providence Consulting and SAGE Automation at the event, connecting with Defence and industry from across Australia. Across the three days, we’ve had some great conversations around the challenges shaping Defence delivery, from complex programs and infrastructure to digital capability, project delivery and the importance of bringing the right expertise together. A great recognition for RPS Digital and Capability Practice Lead Christian Slavik, who has been featured by Tetra Tech as part of their Spotlight on Project Excellence series. Christian brings together strong project leadership with a genuine interest in how digital tools, automation and data can help teams work more effectively and make better decisions. His work also includes supporting the continued development and implementation of myProjects, helping translate client and project needs into practical digital solutions.
