Dysfunctional boards rarely implode. They drift. They avoid tension. They mistake harmony for effectiveness. This board assessment reveals whether your board is high-performing — or quietly underperforming. Most founders think 'playing it safe' is wisdom. But safe doesn't scale. Safe doesn't innovate. Safe doesn't leave a legacy. I'm keynoting The Legacy Centre's Speaker Series tomorrow on exactly this topic. Because the biggest risk in business isn't going big. It's building small and calling it responsible. After building and selling 7 companies and coaching hundreds of service-based founders past 7- and 8-figure exits, I've seen this pattern destroy more wealth than market crashes. The trap: Confusing caution with strategy. Mistaking incremental for intentional. Here's what I'll be sharing: → Why your 'safe' decisions are killing your growth potential → The mindset shift that unlocks exponential thinking → How to build legacy-level businesses, not lifestyle projects The greatest entrepreneurs don't avoid risk; they understand it. What's the 'safe' decision that's actually holding your business back? #KeynoteSpeaker #Entrepreneurship #BusinessStrategy #EventPlanning #BusinessGrowth

There are plenty of psychometric and development tools available, but not all of them create real value in practice. For me, the key question is not whether a tool looks impressive on paper. It is whether it helps people gain insight they can actually use - and whether that insight continues to support better decisions, development, and performance over time. That is why I found Agata Perepeczko’s perspective in this short clip so interesting. She shares what mattered most to her when choosing tools to support her clients, and why practical, usable insight makes such a difference. 👉 Watch here: https://zurl.co/ksldu What matters most to you when selecting a psychometric or development tool - credibility, ease of use, depth of insight, or practical application? #TalentDevelopment #HRLeadership #Psychometrics #LeadershipDevelopment #OrganizationalDevelopment

Before you lead others, scale your business or change your world, you must first lead yourself. That’s the foundation of Principle #1 in our ScaleX Framework: Psyche. Rooted in the science of mindset from Carol Dweck and expanded through our experience coaching 100s of SME leaders, Psyche is about awareness, belief, and transformation. 🧠 Your psyche is your internal operating system. Here’s the A–E of developing a scaling psyche: • Awareness of disempowering patterns. • Belief in the possibility of growth. • Control in responding to challenges vs reacting. • Discipline to practice empowered habits. • Environment as a performance catalyst. Every scaling story I’ve seen start well began here. If you're leading a business and feel stuck, ask yourself: are you truly empowered? Or are you bottlenecking your own potential? 💬 If you’d like to see me unpack each of the 10 ScaleX principles like this, give this post a like and follow me for the full series.

“The clearest exposition I have seen of how the two spaces intersect and overlap, while remaining distinct practices.” So says Prof. David Clutterbuck who has written the foreword in my book on behalf of EMCC Global. He’s referring to my first chapter which explores where therapy and coaching meet and diverge. Myths and taxonomies abound, many including the old trope of therapy being about the past and coaching the future. Both practices are more nuanced than that. Though some practitioners, particularly those only qualified in one field, may still fall in to that outdated framing. In my experience, the overlap is rich and the distinctions matter. Where do you see the similarities and where do you hold the differences? #coaching #therapy #training You can read more about the chapters and their authors on my training website: https://lnkd.in/euEDCrWP
