Hi everybody. I was headed down Euclid Avenue Sunday night for office hours. Saw there was a huge crowd of people on Lexington Avenue and thought “Wow, all those students waiting for me to arrive for office hours. Very Cool!!” Then I realized that the students were awaiting the arrival of the victorious UK basketball team 😦 Oh well. I arrived for office hours in Keeneland Hall, ate a tootsie roll pop and sulked.

I’m really enjoying your blog posts. Lots of initial anxiety about the technology embedded in the course. Understandable. I’m very pleased to read that fears have been conquered! Life is about staying power. The tortoise, not the hare, won the race.

I’d like you all to read for Tuesday’s class a very brief essay by the editorial writer Eugene Robinson, a Washington Post columnist. Black men still wear bull’s eye throughout life.

See you all on Tuesday in our regular (Keeneland Hall) classroom.
