In the 1930s, extensive efforts were made to kill off one particular species of fish in America. People thought that they had no value and decided to electrocute an ancient species to the brink of extinction.

The Vaquita’s days are numbered because of illegal fishing for another protected species. The whole species is getting wiped out as collateral damage.
