"As Real As It Gets"

Sea World was amazing, fascinating, incredible, stunning, unbelievable, etc....! As much as Disneyland was thrilling, enchanting, stimulating and sensational, I think I enjoyed myself here the very most. As a little girl I wanted to be a Marine Biologist when I grew up, so this was right up my alley. I think Ellie is just as smitten. She's already making plans to work here as a trainer as soon as she graduates from high school!

Unfortunately, the batteries died in the camera during the "Shamu" show, so we didn't get any pics of that magnificent creature. I guess that means we'll just have to go back again!

Oceanside, CA

Just a couple of photos of us in Oceanside. We stayed in this great little condo, right on the beach! (it was the perfect in-between place to shuttle back and forth from Disneyland to Sea World.)

Jace was being a bit of a featherweight about the wind. While it was blowing hard, it was at least sunny and in the high 60's! (I thought it was great, considering there was a snow storm at home)

The kids fell into bed each night, exhausted from all the fun and sun!

The Happiest Place on Earth!

"To all that come to this happy place:
welcome!
Disneyland is your land."
—Walt Disney

Walt Disney wondered why anyone would want to be a Senator or a Governor when you could be King of Disneyland. I wonder the same thing. Despite running fevers and having terrible coughs, we had a phenomenal day! Just being at Disneyland made us feel like royalty!

This is as close as our two Princesses would get to the castle.
They're far too grown up for that "silly, little girl stuff"!
(sniff, sniff)

Nothing like having your cousins around to make a fun day even more memorable!

Mom and Jace at Bug's Life. This was more Jace's speed.
He didn't like Space Mountain, but he loved Small World.

(but then, who doesn't?)

Dad likes to "bug out" too!

Takin' a break.

We nearly walked Jace's little legs off!

(Thanks for the lift, Uncle Brody!)

Patience is a virtue I do not have right now!

So, this computer is really trying my patience. Every time I log on to update this blog, I barely get into the middle of things and it crashes! Aaauuugh! I haven't been that big of a slacker, I really have tried a number of times to update, but I have obviously done something to anger the Microsoft gods thus, this is all you get for now. Just know that we are all finally well, we enjoyed Disneyland immensely and that I seriously nag Dustin everyday to get our new computer ordered!
