My sister is the BEST!!!

Okay so, my sister Arlee has been living with Brad and I for over a year and we have loved having her. Her condo in Daybreak is finally done minus a few last minute touches. I am so sad she is moving out, but I know she i ready to be on her own again. So, a few weeks ago we started getting a few little surprises.... in the mail, on our doorstep etc. The first day there was a poster board with a puzzle outline on it rolled up in a mailing tube left on our front porch. We were a little confused but just held on to it. Then, we got a book in the mail addressed to Bostyn (Do princesses really kiss frogs?) Inside of it, there was a puzzle piece that fit onto the earlier delivered poster board. Oh Brad and I were so curious as to who was doing it... we had ideas stretched all the way from my mom, my aunt Jeanne, people in the ward, or of course Arlee. Arlee played it off well and never once made us think it was her. Over the past few weeks, we have received over 16 different puzzle pieces addressed to our family members. Even, our baby boy on the way got a few cute books. Drew got candy (she knows him well), and a PSP game. Bostyn got books, candy, and a Baby Alive (which she loves). I got the cutest maternity Boston Red Sox shirt. Right on the belly it says future red sox fan. And, I kept teasing Brad that whoever it was hated him because he only got candy until the end... she got him a ticket to the first UTE football game (she knows him well also). We are so excited to go. He would just laugh and say that he was just happy to see us getting all of these fun things. At first we thought that the puzzle pieces would reveal the riddler, but we were wrong. It was just to keep us sidetracked. On Friday when Brad got home, there was a clue (that rhymed of course) on the door that sent us to Cheesecake Factory for an appetizer. We had bread and stuffed macaroni and cheese. Then, our waiter gave us a clue to send us all the way downtown (where I had just come from) for pizza at our favorite restaurant, Rusted Sun. We were too full to eat, and she gave us our next clue which was to meet the "person" at Chilis on 13400 South and they would meet us there for our favorite dessert Molten Chocolate Cake. Of course, it was Arlee and she had the last puzzle piece which she had written the cutest thank you note on. She is so appreciative of everything that we have done for her over the past year. She also gave us a few gift cards there for Chilis, Coldstone, Nordstrom, and Pottery Barn. Ar, we will miss having you there all of the time. Thank you for taking the time to plan such a heartfelt thank you! We love you so much, and are grateful for everything you do for us!!! So everyone... if Arlee ever asks if she can live with you, let her.... the Thank You is well worth it! :)

Bostyns playdate!

Brad has a friend that he grew up with and they are still really good friends. Our girls are all around the same age, and LOVE to play together. These are the same friends that were so nice and allowed Brad and I to live with them for a while when our house was being built. Since we moved the girls dont get to play as much. Justin brought them over the other night and they were able to play. I am so glad that Bostyn has such sweet little friends that I know she is forming lifelong friendships with. As you can see in the pictures they play so well together and all have amazing imaginations. We got to go out with them again last night but I forgot my camera. We went swimming and then to dinner, and lastly to ice cream. Mindy also drew the cutest mural on Bostyns wall that I am going to paint today. I will post pictures when it is all done. Thanks Justin and Mindy for being so good to us!

I have a new favorite...

SPRINKLES CUPCAKES!!!

So for all of you who keep up on the blog, you know that my sister has been living in Phoenix for the past couple months. She absolutely loved it and we got to reap some of the benefits as well. She always goes and searches out the best shopping, food and recreation. This adds one more place to Brad and I's long list of places to visit. Although we have already been to Phoenix (Brads brother used to live there), we will still go back. Anyway, the weekend before Arlee moved home she brought us all Sprinkles cupcakes to try. Oh, they are so rich but you can't stop eating them. My friend Holly described them best when she said it is like a piece of heaven in your mouth. They have the cutest wooden forks, knives, napkins, and menus. Arlee brought all of it home so we could have the whole experience. Arlee brought Bostyn a Strawberry one and it was pretty good. Then, Brad and I got to taste Red Velvet, Chai Latte, and Pumpkin Spice. My favorite was the red velvet. When Arlee left, there were 2 Red Velvet cupcakes left. All day at work I dreamt about them and couldnt wait to get home and try one. Well, apparently Brad had the same idea and he beat me home...... HE ATE BOTH OF THEM!!!! I think he likes them. :) Thanks Ar for keeping us up on all the good things around the world!

Bostyn is just the cutest thing ever!

Okay so I know that I am a little bias but I just think that Bostyn is so cute! Every day I see her I just think how different Brad and I's lives would be without her. She brings so much sassiness to our house we almost cant stand it. Her hair is finally long enough that I can try all of my new hairstyles on her. I three-barrelled her hair this weekend a few times and it was so adorable. She even thought so- I out her in the mirror and she smiled and said, "mama i'n cute". And I must admit, a little vain but she knows cute! She was so good at the grocery store that Brad and I let her choose a treat. She chose mini oreoes and the last picture is a result of that. We also got her a new scooter. I am going to see if I can figure out how to load the pictures from that.
Another piece of exciting news, Brad and I have finally agreed on a name for final review at a later date. For any of you that talk to us on a regular basis, you know that this has been a fight from day one. Once it is finalized I will let everyone in on it. :) Arlee, we just wanted to tell you that we miss you and we cant wait to see you this weekend!

Been a while... already 26 weeks along!

I know I have been a complete slacker. I get going in life and things to me seem so mundane that who in the heck would want to read about them. My sister has moved to Arizona for a couple of months so I promised her I would stay more on top of it. I feel like time is flying by as we are trying to get everything in perfect order for the baby. I feel like this pregnancy is so different. For starters, I am getting huge! I dont know what it is because I am not doing anything different. One thing has definitely remianed the same. For those of you who knew about my "WRAP" that I did during Bostyns pregnancy, yes I am doing it again, and yes it is working! SO FAR! I posted a pic for all those who wonder what huge looks like. :) This is actually a really bad picture, but Arlee you asked for it! Brad has been so wonderful and is really working hard to get my honey do list done. He even promised me on Saturday that EVERYTHING will get done. -I was having a "crazy" worrisome moment. I asked him if he knew what everything meant and he just smiled. I swear he is the best husband in the world I dont know what I would do without him.
