Vampire's Fall 2 is an RPG set in a dark medieval fantasy world with turn-based combat, where nightmarish creatures roam the forests, while humans live in fear within their villages. The only way to combat the decadence of this world is to become part of it. And that is why the protagonist is a creature of the night: a vampire.

Create your character the way you want

The first thing you have to do when you start a new game is create your character. You can choose whether you want your character to have a traditionally male or female body, their facial features, hair type, skin color, whether or not they have scars, and much more. What's more, you can choose between four different vampire clans. Each clan will provide you with a different set of bonuses for the rest of your adventure.

Explore a dark and dangerous world

After you have created your character, Vampire's Fall 2 will begin. From the very beginning you will have complete freedom to move around the initial village and, after a few minutes (once you have dealt with a handful of ghouls) you will be able to leave the village and explore at your leisure. This is a key aspect of the game. You can always count on a great sense of freedom, since, although a handful of missions will be active at all times, you can complete them in any order you see fit and explore the world at will.

Turn-based combat

Vampire's Fall 2 utilizes a turn-based combat system. During each turn you can decide what action you want to carry out and then your enemy will do the same. In general, you can choose to attack with your left hand, attack with your right hand, or use one of the special abilities you have unlocked. If you are running low on health or energy, you can also take a potion. Keep in mind that fights are generally quite tough. Some enemies can take out almost a third of your health with a single attack, so you should always proceed with caution.

Level up and upgrade your hero

Both killing enemies and completing quests will reward you with experience, which in turn will allow you to level up. The key to success in Vampire's Fall 2 lies in learning how to invest your skill points wisely. The game has several different skill trees which you can work your way through as you level up. Ideally, you should pay attention to the skills you think you will use the most in your adventure, and try to focus on them. For example, it won't do you any good to invest points in bladed weapon skills if you aren't planning on using swords.
