1957 King Midget


The Midget Motors Corporation was located in Athens, Ohio. In 1946 Model 1 was produced as a kit and would accept any single cylinder engine for power. By 1947 the King Midget was available assembled with a 6hp Wisconsin engine. In 1957 the cars had four wheel hydraulic brakes and a 9.2hp Wisconsin engine. Production ended in 1970. 1953 Inter 175A Berline


This microcar was designed and built by SNCAN- a French aircraft manufacturer. It was built to compete with the Messerschmitt KR-175. It was powered by a single cylinder 175CC engine making 8hp. Three hundred were produced between 1953 and 1956, Approximately thirty cars survive.

Darryl Starbird's Predica



The car started life as a wrecked 1957 Thunderbird. In 1959 Darryl Starbird spent eleven weeks turning into the Predica. Today it and other creations of his are housed in the Museum of American Speed in Lincoln, Nebraska.

Jehle Saphier


The Saphier was one of two vehicles produced by Jehle in Leichtenstein. The Saphier was built on a Volkswagen floor pan and powered by a turbocharged VW engine. Production was between 1984 and 1993.
