The Secret Key

I lean against the moon, reading your poems.

It is a still, cloudless night, unlike my blurry mind.

I am playing and rewinding, your cryptic rhymes,

Those, you etched on my forehead with your loving kiss.

Myriad questions creep beneath my skin.

I am gazing at the vastness of space and time,

Intently, to spot a sign; the secret key

To decipher your esoteric mystery.

You are a noble enigma to me.

With the pale moonlight, I am tracing out

A clandestine path to your concealed heart

Among stars, constellations and nebulae.

I shall be discreet, I am not a petty thief.

Approaching with appreciation and gratitude.

‘Cause every piece of you, I am aware of,

Brings out the best in me… I am thankful!

I love you !

Maybe…

Love is the real Mystery as well as the Secret Key!
