Programme

Screening and meeting around the documentary "the girls of the blue squadron", in the presence of the descendants – room WEISS C-1.1 at 10 am

In the immediate post-war period, a group of 11 young French female volunteers, nurses and ambulance drivers, are tasked with an impossible mission: to repatriate their compatriots scattered by the conflict across a devastated continent. As part of the 80th anniversary of the end of the Second World War and the return to peace, a screening of the documentary "The Girls of the Blue Squadron" (52 mins) is offered at 10 a.m. followed by a meeting with the descendants of these incredible women at 11 a.m., an opportunity with these testimonies to look back on this overwhelming journey to hell.

Additional screenings at 12:00 and 15:00 in French with German subtitles and at 13:00 and 17:00 in English.

Concert by the vocal ensemble PHILAE – Podium photo at 14:30

On the occasion of International Women's Day, the Franco-German amateur vocal ensemble Philae offers a varied and eclectic programme focusing on the theme of the sacred, a serious and scholarly field where, for a long time, women have had to fight for the right to be heard, to compose and to publish.

Performance "Curieuse Rencontre" between Chloé Daudier, engineer and Louise Wetterwald, musician – room WEISS H-1.3 at 16:00

The "Curieuse Rencontre" are unexpected dialogue-based performances, where the scientific and artistic worlds connect. Through a complicit dialogue punctuated by interactions with the public and musical performances, they will share their journeys, their challenges and their commitment to breaking down barriers in their respective fields.
