I had to wait several minutes to get started while the more than 3 GB of Warframe Mobile's XAPK downloaded. However, I soon found myself at the initial Warframe selection screen where I could choose to venture into the Origin System with Mag. This hero's magnetic force captivated me from the start, and I was able to test the intuitive control system after a striking initial cinematic sequence. Since I was using a Xiaomi 14T, I managed to squeeze the full potential out of the device by choosing the 60 FPS setting. Furthermore, the soundtrack was simply spectacular, and both the effects and the characters' voices fully immersed me in the action. I reached an intense mission where I had to mercilessly shoot dozens of enemies to defend my ship. Having various action buttons for aiming from a distance or switching weapons quickly was incredibly useful.

What I liked most about Warframe Mobile and what could be improved

Settings load in quite a fluid way as you progress through the Origin System and, if you select the high graphics setting, you can appreciate every spark after each shot is fired. As an added bonus, the title allows you to unlock more than fifty Warframes to test an almost infinite range of abilities.

• What could be improved: If you don't have a high-end smartphone, the performance will be severely hindered by the game's high requirements. On the other hand, the initial levels where you learn the controls and how to manage resources within the title can be tedious for players who have already played the PC version.
