Will's 2nd Birthday, July 26, 2013

It's not possible that will turned two, but I guess I'll have to accept it eventually.  I maybe got a tad emotional, but I hid that from everyone at the party.

Will obviously LOVES cars, so we went with that as the theme.  I wish I had recorded his reactions to these decorations, it was priceless!

Found this cake pan on Amazon and I just couldn't pass it up!!

A week earlier we celebrated Will's and my dad's birthdays with my family.  Don't judge that Will is wearing the same shirt.  This is my dad with all of the grand kids on my side.
Caydence made my dad a bracelet, which he was very nice to wear.  She also made him a card that said "Good Grandpa."  She is so funny.

Fourth of July Weekend

We had such a great 4th of July weekend!  I just love the 4th.  If only it wasn't so HOT!!

We started at the parade, of course.  This was the best picture I could get of Caydence and Will in their festive clothes, Will did NOT want his picture taken so he's just hiding out in the back.  I also can't figure out why the pictures from my phone are so small!  Oh well.
Watched Paige in the parade.  It's pretty weird to have a cheerleader in the family, especially after me and Nicki, ha ha.

Then we headed back to our house for a BBQ and water fight.  This is where Caydence and Will ended up :)

And we ended with the best part of the day: FIREWORKS!!  We tired those kids right out!  Will slept through the whole thing!  And they both were OUT on the way home!

On Saturday we headed to the Bee's game with Danny's family.  We waited out the rain for 2 hours for the game to start!  Totally worth it, we had a blast, but the fireworks after the game were cancelled because it was too late.  :(  Good news is that they let us go to 2 more games for free instead!
 The crazy clouds.
And Grandma was the favorite when she bought everyone cotton candy!

I added one new decoration to my 4th of July stash.  I've got quite the collection.
On Saturday morning we hiked up to Ensign Peak as a family.  It was a great hike and we ended up having perfect weather.  It was fun to get out as a family and the kids were such troopers!

Such an amazing view at the top!
