A little December

Our low key Christmas festivities so far! Christmas jammies
Christmas crafting
Christmas play time. I love their reindeer selection.
Cozy Sunday nights by the fire
More crafting
This is as white as our Christmas will be. And few weeks before Christmas not to mention. Crazy hail storm!
Our elf has been up to shenanigans again. Found himself a little girly friend under the mistletoe. Let's see who the elf is........
Haylee didn't like that so much. Such a naughty little elf. I missed both Haylee and Hunter's class parties this year because I was sick. I was so sad about that. Hunter's class went around singing Christmas carols to all the classrooms around the school. He had a fun time. Looking forward to next week and celebrating more!!

Christmas decor

Last year we were living in an apartment while house hunting and all of our holiday decor was in storage. This year is was so exciting to get out my Christmas decorations after two years.  It was fun figuring out how to decorate for Christmas in a new house again. Here are a few of my favorite Christmas decorations. Still trying to make our new house feel like home and the magic of Christmas helps making it feel homey.

I love my nativity set. It always my first decoration I put out.
I love having a Christmas tree upstairs in our playroom. The kids decorated this themselves and I love all of their handmade ornaments. Every night we nestle in and read a Christmas story under the tree.
I don't know why but this snow globe speaks to me. I just think it's so cute and I miss the coeur dalene snow so I think it reminds me our our last house we loved so much!
I remember so vividly the snow scene my mom had when I was a girl. I loved it, so I started my own this year. It's going to grow over the years but this is our little village this year. Hunter loves it.
I love our little Christmas countdowns
Stair garland makes me happy and so do my little decorator helpers
A few years ago we had just moved to Spokane. Again I was in a new place and didn't know the city or a person there. I got a package in the mail from my mom and it was mistletoe! A Christmas decoration for our new apartment. It made me so happy and is always a fun Christmas decoration. Especially with this sign.
My sister made this o holy night sign and I LOVE it! So festive and peaceful at the same time.
I'm so happy to have a fireplace this year!  I'm on the hunt for new stockings but that will have to wait for next year.
We had to make our own snow this year. Combined with our snowflakes and our snow dancing we are sure hoping for snow!
I love making table center pieces.
My very favorite Christmas decorations are always the hand made ones from my kids. This is Haylees door. She said if her necklace is lit up she is making presents so we can't come in. The light is on often. She is a very giving little sweetie.
I love Hunter's chubby little toddler hands. So happy I have this wreath.
I love this picture of haylee and hunter. There is pure joy in this picture because I told them we could look at Christmas lights in their jammies and slippers while drinking hot chocolate. Snow was falling too. It was a perfect Christmas time night in 2013.
My favorite thing this year is that I get three kids under my tree instead of two.
Merry Christmas! May all of your homes be filled with the sweet spirit of Jesus Christ. Our Savior and the reason for this magical season!

Haylee's baptism

I can't believe this day has already come and gone. Since everybody would be in town for thanksgiving we decided to have Haylees baptism that weekend. November 28, 2015 Haylee was baptized a member of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. It was such a happy day and we are so proud of her.

Haylee was so blessed to have all of her grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins all there to support her. A great day for our family!!

Thanksgiving

These four quad cousins celebrated their first thanksgiving together! It was so much fun seeing them all together for the first time. This is their birth order. Macey (March 10), Hudson (April 26), Josh (may 14),  Bryce (October 9).

We had our first annual 2015 wiz kid turkey trot. We had a one mile race and a three mile. Haylee took 1st place on the one mile and Steven took 1st place on the 3 mile race. Everyone raced, everyone ran their hardest and we had a great time!!!

Warm up

The finish line!!

It was a beautiful morning and so fun to get some fresh air before the big feast!
