Daddy was off of work today and spent the whole day playing with Rosie B!

Rosie Beatrix had a busy day today full of playing! She had music class and later went to an indoor play place with Piper. This was her first time in a ball pit, and it’s safe to say she liked it.

Even after these reactions, she insisted on drinking more.

This week’s gymnastics class was all about challenging ourselves! Rosie B vaulted for the first time, sat under the parachute for the first time (loved it), and climbed up and down stairs, among other things. She was definitely up for the challenge!

And the Oscar goes to…Rosie B! Rosie had such a fun time at her first birthday party today! The Oscar theme was fun, complete with a red carpet, a star on the walk of fame for her and all of her friends to put their handprints on, and “paparazzi”photos! Seriously so fun. These are just a few pics of the party decor, and a handful of Rosie’s photo shoot before the party with her smash cake. Tons more pics to follow once I get them back from the photographer (THANKS Ellen!).

Rosie B is busy today prepping for her party tomorrow. It’s sure to be a good time…here’s a little peek at her invite (designed by Aunt Liz!).

Everyone knows that Rosie B was ‘Born to Shine,’ so it was only fitting that her birthday outfit said so. And she really is special. From the moment she was born, she has been the sweetest, most easy-going baby— who loves to be in the spotlight!

She had a hugely busy day today: getting her “first thing when you wake up” Skipper traditional photo taken, eating her favorite breakfast of grits (extra butter), going to music class where everyone sang happy birthday to her, running a few errands with Mommy, then attempting to eat her very first red velvet cupcake from Georgetown Cupcake (she wasn’t impressed , but was very interested in Daddy’s milk shake instead).

And lest ye think Rosie B isn’t going to have a first birthday bash to remember, stay tuned for pictures on Saturday.

Rosie B now has a blog post for every day of her little life. I plan to keep it going until she leaves for college. 🙂

It’s freezing outside today (below freezing, actually) so Rosie B decided to stay in her sweats and play… While sporting her very FIRST back ponytail! She’s gotta rest up for her birthday tomorrow and all of her weekend birthday festivities!
