Rosie B trick or treated in our very hilly neighborhood tonight with some of our neighbor friends. It was a fun time, but after almost an hour of walking up and down steep driveways, Rosie (the Riveter) began declaring, “We CANNOT do it!” The evening ended shortly after. She really did have a great time though!

Rosie practiced her serious and silly faces in her Halloween dress today before church. 

Rosie had a Spooktacular Saturday. She spent the morning at a Storybook Fun fundraiser for the library– where she got a (Hershey) kiss from Prince Charming himself! Then she went to a Halloween themed birthday party and got to wear her Snow White costume (and stuff herself full of cake and ice cream!)

Rosie B’s school sure knows how to celebrate Halloween right. First, she was in a Halloween Parade (as the caboose– she’s by far the pokiest kiddo at school…), then the older students held a Halloween carnival with games and prizes, and then, there was a party in the classroom. What a day for Rosie the Riveter! 

‘Delectable’ is one of Rosie’s favorite words lately. And this week she’s been putting it to good use describing all of the Halloween treats! “That cupcake is delectable, Mommy!” 

Rosie the Riveter attended our church’s Trunk or Treat and Carnival and looked absolutely perfect– especially when she did her “muscle face”! 👌🏼

When Rosie woke up today and Mommy told her that today was the first game of the World Series, she said, ” I want the Cubs to win bad BAD BAD!” Don’t we all, Rosie B!? Go Cubs!

After gymnastics today, Rosie headed straight over to the Bud’s Best Cookie factory for a tour. She got loads of free cookies, and took a train ride through the factory to see how the cookies are made and packaged. And did I mention the free cookies? 🍪🍪🍪🍪

Rosie Beatrix loved getting into the Halloween spirit in her Frankenstein dress and accessories today. 

The whole girls crew went to Disney on Ice today. Dream Big was basically all princesses, so everyone was very happy with the show and even happier to experience it together!
