Rosie woke up with a purpose today: buying a new outfit at Justice (a tween store in the mall.) Mommy obliged and let her choose whatever shirt and pants she wanted, along with an additional headband and a set of thumb rings (that she definitely will never wear.) Then, she watched the Tide Roll!!!!

These girls got the holiday weekend started with an early release from school and a trip to the pool! After swimming, it was time to head out for fro-yo during happy hour!

Rosie B is ready for some football tonight and will be cheering on the Cougars in her sleep tonight. 😜 Mommy also received the following text from Rosie’s teacher and is so proud of her for being a great helper!

“We have two children in our room who recently moved here from Spain. They know very little English.

So, she’s (the Spanish teacher) been helping us help them learn English.

Today, she asked if Rosie could come and work with her and (the older sibling).

Graciela was SO impressed by Rosie’s patience and pronunciation.

Just thought you’d love to know just how amazing and helpful Rosie has been in various ways in and out of the classroom.”

Way to be, RBG!

Soccer practice number 2 was today! Although Rosie seems a bit more concerned over what color the team jerseys will be than what is going on on the field…

Rosie was excited that it was raining this morning because that meant she got to wear her raincoat! After school she got some chill time and requested cucumbers for her eyes (and the mint julep masque was Mommy’s idea.)

Rosie got back home and immediately got to work on a marshmallow castle/bridge.

When a cousin gets a new Nintendo, it becomes a huge hit! All the gals played together all day, mostly on Nintendo, but they also bedazzled some cool rocks.
