The night is finally here, and Rosie is about as excited as she’s ever been. Allie and another friend from school came for the sleepover party, and they are all staying busy! Pizza, ice cream, a toast with sprite and water, sparklers, games, a Charlie Brown guided drawing, and an original RBG madlib… hopefully they are tired soon!!

Party Planner Extraordinaire
Rosie somehow convinced Mommy to let her have a New Year’s Eve spend the night party with a few friends. She is planning every detail and worked on decor all day today.
Sayonara, Chicago
What an awesome weekend in the city! Rosie loved having Sahrah (one of our beloved teenage cousins/babysitter) for this trip. Until next time, Chicago…which basically means until baseball season.
Winter in Chicago
Rosie had a full and fun day in Chicago today! After an awesome breakfast and a stop at The Bean, she headed to the Art Institute to take in the Andy Warhol exhibit (along with some Van Gogh and Monet.) Then, she headed to the theater for the hilarious “Potted Potter,” and ended the day with Giordanos (what else?!)
Bike ‘n Fly
Mommy and RBG went on a long bike ride together this morning, and now, they’re flying to Chicago for the weekend!
Wheels and Art
Rosie enjoyed her new scooter on the trails this morning, followed it up by a trip to an art gallery, then headed back out on the track with her bike.
Christmas Labels
Rosie Beatrix had a wonderful Christmas! She had asked Santa for two things: a Nintendo and snow. One of those things was a total impossibility since it was 72° today, but Santa did manage to bring her the (classic, preloaded) Nintendo (which may be more of a gift for Daddy since he’s been playing Punch Out and Techmobowl all day…) plus some other great gifts. Her top two gifts based on excitement and usage since opening are her dictionary bookmark (of course) and her label maker!! As soon as she got back home today, she started labeling her spaces.
Christmas Eve Golfing
Rosie spent the morning on the golf course with Daddy and Grandaddy, and got a new Sylvester and Tweety Bird nightgown from her Christmas Eve Pajama Elf! She also finally got to watch the family favorite Christmas Vacation (only with Nana and Mommy because Allie is sick!)
Nails
Good thing RBG got some relaxation in this morning because she’s been stuck in stand still traffic for two hours making her way to Nana and Grandaddy’s!
First Semester Art
Rosie B showed off her first semester art projects today, and the one she was MOST excited about was her “Cobra vs GI Joe” piece. She may literally be the only 6 year old who knows (and loves) GI Joe. Daddy was so proud.
