Rosie B and Penny B are fast friends. Penny slept all morning while Rosie got her school work done, then they played outside for a little while before coming inside for another nap. These pics should make anyone’s heart happy.

RBG is pleased to introduce you the newest member of her family, Penny Banks Gunn. (Her middle named is for an old Cubs legend, Ernie Banks.) This little English bulldog is already spoiled rotten and is the sweetest thing ever.

Rosie Beatrix was super proud today to finally, after months of waiting, receive the official adoption certificates for the 14 koalas she was able to symbolically adopt on behalf of her school. Because of the numerous donations from students at her school, family, friends and even Daddy’s physician colleagues near and far, she raised a total of $463!!!!! Meet Mr. Snooze, Jimmie Jams, Rosé, Wattle, Sebastian, Smarty Pants, Ella, Thor, Harvey, Gidget, Jester, Millie, and Lilly and Yoda (mother and baby!)

Rosie had an art assignment due this week to recreate a piece of art. She also did some golfing in our yard today!

Another day, another bike trail. Today Rosie rode the Magic City Rotary Trail!

Rosie and Daddy hiked through the creek to the waterfall today, but somehow got caught in a precarious situation where they had to “scoot” out on their bottoms (and got pretty soaked in the process!)

Today was Field Trip Friday! Mommy and Rosie went on a Birmingham Mural Tour around the city! It was so fun and we got to see some areas of the city we hadn’t really noticed before. She even ran into one of the artists who was “updating” his piece with a mask to prevent coronavirus!

RBG challenged Mommy to a “girl versus girl competition” this afternoon. It started with a fashion show (pics are Rosie’s five looks: summer, winter, couch potato, formal, and your choice.) The next competition was a running competition, then a piano competition followed by a paper chain making contest. It all ended with a healthy cooking challenge. Various family members judged each competition. It’s no surprise Rosie came out on top (by a long shot.)

Rosie celebrated Earth Day by spending lots of time in Mother Nature and by creating an acrostic poem about Earth.

Rosie B and Daddy went on a little jaunt in Little Shades Creek today and then she cooled down with a Steel City Pop!
