It was a gorgeous day to take a Sunday stroll through the park.

RBG had friends from her class over to craft and play, then took Penny to a walking path for dove fresh air!

Friday night mood: tired.

Rosie Beatrix chose to wear her VP Kamala Harris shirt with her Ruth Bader Ginsburg mask today for “extra girl support” during the school Spanish spelling bee. She didn’t win, but she was very happy to place 3rd in the school (behind the winner of course, and an 8th grader), she was the youngest competitor AND she was one of only two girls who had won their classroom bee! 🙌🏻👏🏼💪🏻 Way to go, RBG!

For the second year in a row, RBG won her class’ Spanish spelling bee! Tomorrow is the school-wide bee where she’ll compete against every winner, lower and upper elementary plus middle school. Her Spanish teacher gave her a “small” list of extra words to study tonight…

Mommy taught Rosie how to play MASH tonight. She got pretty tickled at herself coming up with options for Daddy.

Rosie is a great dog walker… and she’s planning to start a dog walking business soon (and she had no hesitation offering Mommy’s help walking dogs during the day since she’s at school…)

Rosie B took Penny for a walk today and they did some rock jumping around the water. And of course, Penny found the mud.

Rosie Beatrix celebrated big for her 8th birthday today!! She and her fellow 8 year old cousins headed out to the country for some horseback riding, then enjoyed Nana’s famous chicken and dumplings before digging in to a delicious “Among Us” red velvet cake.

Rosie got back home today to a BIG surprise! Nana, Allie, and Sydney came up to surprise her for her birthday tomorrow and they were in the yard and hiding in the house with balloons when she drove up.
