Rosie practiced her rock throwing skills at the creek today!

RBG took Penny on an early evening stroll (to meet Daddy for ice cream!)

Rosie and Penny enjoyed watching the trains go by at Railroad Park today, and then they went on a sunset stroll with Daddy.

Rosie Beatrix helped Mommy with all.the.things today: shopping errands, household chores, and even some yard work! She also finished this week’s edition of the newspaper (she was appalled that Mommy had posted it the other day because it was incomplete! oops!) And she sold her first copy for 25 cents to our very kind neighbor.

Rosie and Mommy had a wonderful day in North Alabama at “Tigers for Tomorrow” a tiger and predator preserve for animals that can no longer live in the wild. Noccalula Falls was close by, so they got to visit there, too, and captured some rainbows in the water! Nature is beautiful!

Budding journalist Rosie compiled yet another newspaper for our neighborhood, the “Dolly Ridge Daily.” Her coverage of the Grammy awards was 👌🏼.

Rosie visited DeSoto Caverns today! It was fun exploring and learning about the cave and its history— and seeing what “true darkness” looks like (Mommy will never know because she never opens her eyes during that part of cave tours…). Then, she detoured to see an old covered bridge in the way home.

She’s back at home, and reunited with Penny. A walk through the rain showers was nice and refreshing!

These two have been riding in this wagon together since they were old enough to sit up— and they still love it! They love going on outdoor adventures together and today was no exception.
