Rosie’s down here living the good life in Miami.

Today R and A spent the day outside in the sunshine playing four square, swinging, and wading in the creek.

Rosie really outdid herself with Mommy’s birthday party this year! She had been planning for WEEKS and spent all day yesterday putting together the final details, and it was well worth it. The theme was “tropical” and she had several games like “pin the fin on the fish”, “pirate treasure hunt”, “coconut bowling,” and good ole “hide and seek.” She also planned for Nana to bring cake and Mommy’s fave piña coladas. It was a great party!

Rosie planned a birthday breakfast picnic for Mommy today at Railroad Park. The main event (that she’s been planning for weeks) is tomorrow! She always makes sure birthdays are special and spares no expense!

Rosie B knocked off two summer bucket list items today! She and Mommy drove out to see the Cahaba lilies while they are still in bloom (they only bloom for a few weeks each year!) It was so beautiful! And tonight was a perfect night for some campfire s’mores! ✅✅

RBG finally got around to making her summer bucket list! She can’t wait to get a start on it (a few things are even already done ✅!)

When summer reading begins, and the used bookstore texts Mommy to let her know about the one day buy one/get one free sale, you get a basket and load up on books for summer!!

RBG celebrated the first weekday of summer with a shaved ice, of course! And she recently learned about reiki healing for your pets, so naturally, she tried it out on Penny. Penny played along nicely.

Today, RBG returned to in-person church after one year and two months of home church. It was a distanced and shortened service, but she said it felt good to be back. And she noticed every single person who had changed their hair during the pandemic. 🤣

To end this school year with a bang, Rosie’s class had a pool party today! So. Much. Fun. Let summer begin!
