And I’ve got to say, having covered a lot of campaigns, I’ve seen dirtier (Bush in South Carolina in 2000), angrier and far more extreme, but… I’ve never seen a candidate who showed such arrant disrespect for the public–and for himself. Indeed, Romney has performed a political self-lobotomy. Not just on his brain, which seemed an impressive instrument a year ago, but also on whatever nagging moral sense he might have had. He did this in order to conform–in the primaries, at least–to every last polling preference, no matter how skeevy, of his party’s base. Worse, he has chosen to demagogue on issues–like illegal immigration–where his own record shows a history of moderation…and an embarrassing tendency toward private hypocrisy (Those gardeners!) I’ve also never seen a candidate so loathed, privately, by his competitors.

CNN failed to mention Romney ties with Blackwater [video]

In September reports on the decision by Iraq’s Interior Ministry to, in the words of CNN.com, “revoke the license of Blackwater USA, an American security firm whose contractors are blamed for a Sunday gunbattle in Baghdad that left eight civilians dead,” CNN and CNN.com failed to note that Blackwater USA’s vice chairman, J. Cofer Black, is reportedly the head of Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney’s counterterrorism policy advisory group. During the 2 p.m. ET hour of CNN Newsroom, CNN re-aired a June 2006 report during which senior international correspondent Nic Robertson interviewed Black, but when co-anchor T.J. Holmes introduced the report, he did not mention Romney’s reported connection to Blackwater USA, and, during the report, Black was identified only as, “Vice chairman, Blackwater USA”:

Romney fund-raiser quits after indictment

A fund-raiser for Mitt Romney’s presidential campaign resigned from his volunteer post last week after being indicted in Maryland for allegedly defrauding companies of $32 million.

Alan B. Fabian, 43, a Maryland businessman who cochaired the national finance committee for Romney’s campaign, was indicted Wednesday by a Maryland grand jury on 23 counts of mail fraud, money laundering, bankruptcy fraud, perjury, and obstruction of justice, according to the US attorney’s office in Baltimore.

Fabian had served as cochair since January and had contributed the maximum amount of $2,300, said Eric Fehrnstrom, a campaign spokesman.

“We have accepted Mr. Fabian’s resignation from his unpaid, volunteer position on the national finance committee, and we are returning his contribution to the campaign,” Fehrnstrom said in an e-mail yesterday.

The campaign, however, will not return contributions from donors who were recruited by or have ties to Fabian, Fehrnstrom said.

“There is no reason to return donations from people who have not been accused of any wrongdoing,” Fehrnstrom said.

Florida recount. Perhaps he is sending a message across the state that a Romney fix won’t fly. The state that gave us George Bush with it’s VOTING FRAUD and Katherine Harris, is on notice. This Governor will not tolerate a fraud for Romney. I doubt the polls are that close anyway. The media is owned. Just watch cable news for a few minutes. So, give us a tight poll, and we’ll believe it tipped in favor of the person who didn’t win.

Pin A Medal on Glenn Johnson…..quick, before he disappears

The reporter sitting on the floor putting actual, tough, reality-based questions to Romney is AP reporter Glen Johnson—and someone ought to pin a medal on him. Romney lied, Johnson called him on it. He didn’t run off and find a Democrat or a rival for the GOP nomination to “dispute Romney’s claim.” He reacted the way any reporter—any person—ought to react when they’re being lied to.

Judging a candidate by the company he/she keeps….let’s do Romney first.

It has become challenging to distinguish the real from the pretend. How do we decide which cadidate is the right one to be President. You won’t be able to tell by watching and listening to THEM. Go peripheal. Who are their closest friends and colleagues. Who are they really? Learn THAT, and learn who your candidate is.

One of the first things I learned in sunday school in the mormon church was this: You can judge a man by the company he keeps. Maybe that’s why my parents wanted me to have mormon friends. And when I brought a friend home who was not mormon, they invited them to church.

MITT ROMNEY: BLACKWATER, KARL ROVE, SKOOTER LIBBY LEGAL DEFENSE FUND.

I don’t even need to go beyond that. Game over.

I don’t know about the other cadidates. You are free to comment and post your own finds.

But, Beth, Mitt’s campaign manager worked for Skooter Libby – the man WHO WAS CONVICTED OF A FELONY, associated with an act I believe is Treason against this country.

Another close colleague is his Security Advisor, who is Vice Chairman of Blackwater USA.

You won’t know Mitt. Trust me. But, you know Skooter Libby, and you know Blackwater, and he has them both as part of his up close and personal team.

Blackwater employees got probation ( a slap on the wrist) for killing women and children. He has remained mum on the matter. Is this the man you want to lead this country into the future for your children and grandchildren.

Mitt hired the close friend of KARL ROVE to be his campaign chairman.There is a message in this my friend. Are you hearing it? This friend is Beth Meyers. Now – it seems to me, if you add it up, it spells GEORGE W BUSH. Which means only one thing…..his run in MA was the biggest lie EVER perpetrated on the people and the good question is why ? Why did he NEED to be Gov of a state called MA around the time of 2001 ? What was going on in 2001 and 2002? Why not the GOV of Michigan like his father? Why MA. ? You roll that around in your brain for a few days and get back to me.

Hear This: You will NOT be pro choice, as a Leader in the Mormon church, and be a Bishop of the Mormon Church. You will not be in favor of Civil Unions and have a temple reccommend. It’s not a morality issue for them. Those things serve as a net cast wide. Their motives are unspeakable. Beyond that, his lies had to be big. Once you understand why, then you will know WHO HE IS.

Now, are you really a Christian, or not? Be wise in your decision. Your vote is your decision my friend.

On June 22, 2007, news organizations reported that one of Romney’s top campaign aides was being investigated for having possibly impersonated a state trooper in Massachusetts. Jay Garrity, director of campaign operations for Romney, was named in the investigation by state police. Garrity had been investigated three years earlier for possessing police equipment and lights, while he was an aide to Governor Romney.
