Contract Dinner

Looking in that mirror, which gave back imagery of a woman bordering on mid-years, Ana sighed at what was to be the coming events of her evening.
She has finally found a publisher that is willing to, at the very least, try to invest in the new book. With another sigh, she remembered the notes that had been exchanged along with various documents.
“ You know, beautiful, he won’t be looking at you. So stop fussing. You should be more worried about whether he will accept your terms.”
Once more, she allows a sigh as her long fingers of well-groomed fingernails thread through her dark brunette tresses so that wayward strands meet a composed appearance. “Uhm, yes. Yes. You look good enough.” She chastises with much silent scrutiny of her entire appearance. “Get going, girl. He is going to be there, and you will be late.”
With that, she placed the tiny wallet in the left pocket of the linen-coloured blazer. The light jacket soon covered a simplistic baby blue button-up blouse. She wears linen pants because she wants to have that classy businesswoman appeal. ‘No sexiness, not today,’  is her thought as Ana enters the black sedan to drive to the restaurant to meet Billy Gentile of Pearson Publishing.
Ana is headed to a rooftop restaurant bar.
It is renowned for having the most spectacular view due to two windowed walls that accompany the two walnut wood walls. Such is breathtaking as it possesses modern, sleek, eye-catching interiors that fit very well with the industrial inspiration of the whole building, yet it remains warm and welcoming.
Entering the restaurant, Ana smells the lushness of the classic French cuisine with hints of Asian fusion. With that thought, she hopes the book deal talk is complete by the time dessert arrives. With that idea in mind, the waiter beckoned to take Ana to the reserved table.
Ana follows the waiter through to the reserved table. As he helps Ana to be seated, the waiter conveys,  ” Mr. Gentile apologizes for not being able to attend. He requests that you enjoy a meal on his account with no limits applied. Mr. Gentile additionally stated that you are to celebrate. He also sent the version of the signed contract with no adjustments to your hotel room. He had to leave for London without delay. “
The waiter next pours white wine into a glass before setting the wine glass on the table in front of Ana.
” Wow! ” Flows in awe over all that occurs.
” Indeed, madam, very unusual. I recommend adventuring with the scallops. And, if you allow me to choose, I promise to supply an exquisite celebration meal. There will be other culinary and liquid delights worthy of truly celebrating.” He smiled a deeply delicious grin that told of her personal party agenda.
” Certainly, oh yes, please do.” Ana excitedly replies, feeling like she has won a grand prize.
