About the Australasian Research Management Society (ARMS) Skills Network

Welcome to the ARMS Skills Network.  This is a resource showcasing the skills and experience of ARMS members as a networking and connecting platform.  The platform is designed to enable ARMS members to self-submit their details, including a photo (optional) current role, academic/employment background, skills and expertise. 

Once joining, all registered members of the Skills Network will be able to search for research management expertise, mentors and make new connections across the broad remit of ARMS including Australia, New Zealand, Singapore and beyond!

Creating an Account

This site is only available to current financial members of the Australasian Research Management Society. To access the members directory and other content on the ARMS Skills Network, you will need to create a new account. This is separate from the ARMS website and Member’s Portal.

ARMS Member Directory

The ARMS Member Directory allows members to search for other research management professionals based on various criteria. The directory will display the relevant member’s profile card, which will direct you to their profile. From there you can inbox the member.

Profile Page

Your profile page is where you can edit the information that other members will see, including your profile picture. It also serves as a way for other members to send you messages and connect with you.

Connecting with ARMS Members

The platform encourages you to connect with fellow ARMS members from across Australasia. This will help you expand your network and engage with like-minded professionals.

Mentoring

The Skills Network also serves as an opportunity for members to connect with potential mentors. We request that you only contact members who have expressed interest in mentoring.  Please also observe the mentoring guidelines for instructions on how to broker a mentoring relationship.
