of those who gave their last measure of devotion
to secure for others, precious liberty
in our country, known as land of the brave and free.
Though our freedom might be a waning ember,
let’s take the time to reflect and remember.
Liberty is bought, it’s not totally free.

I’m canceling the fear culture
in Jesus’ holy name.
No longer do I submit to its tyranny,
and I refuse the shame.
For fear is not the state of mind
in which God wants me to live.
It robs me of my needed faith
until I have none to give.
By the power of the Holy Ghost
I’ll walk in liberty.
God filled me with His Spirit
that I might be set free
from the terrors, doubts and what ifs,
contrary to His Word.
If I keep my eyes on Jesus,
I walk in vision not blurred.
So fear culture, get thee behind me
in Jesus’ mighty name.
I will not be a participant
in your selfish and deadly game.

Tempted By Their Helplessness
Tempted by their helplessness,
you know they can’t speak out.
It’s such a convenient bargaining tool
to help assuage the doubt
that what’s inside the mother
is more than a blob of clay.
You soundly silence your conscience
as you take that life away.
Tempted by their helplessness,
but it’s legalized you say.
Wouldn’t you want this unplanned pregnancy taken out of the way?
You don’t have to let an unwanted fetus
hinder your plans and dreams.
The simple in their simplicity
then fall prey to your schemes.
Tempted by their helplessness, the unborn don’t yet have voice.
You rationalize their killing
with “it’s my body, my choice.”
The unborn, a fetus, dehumanized
despised as a pile of mud.
Humanness denied, so you feel justified
in the shedding of innocent blood.
Tempted by your helplessness,
Lord Jesus will never be,
lest you turn and obey the gospel
‘fore you head to eternity.

that is, an heavenly
where sweet peace and righteousness
shall reign eternally.
I seek a better country
a hallowed, celestial sod
where Jesus only does rule
revered by all as God.
I seek a better country
where never is shed one tear
pain and suffering unknown
for sin can’t enter there.
I seek a better country
of its splendors I have heard
prepared by the Savior returning
for those who obey His Word.
I seek a better country
where the forever fashion will be
putting off this veil of flesh
to dress in immortality.
I must enter into that country
whatever sacrifice I must make
for only then will my soul be satisfied
when in His likeness I awake.

We need to recover
this freedom we lost.
Let us ask ourselves
“Will we pay the cost?”

Covid 19
she sits as a queen;
her rule, in very grave error.
Mainstream media seen
on many a screen
promoting her reign of terror.
She’s forcing compliance
based on false science;
making each subject wear mask.
Some will not make alliance,
rise up in defiance
Face coverings, they take to task.
She bids you bow knee
to her Marxist decree
close your business that’s deemed non-essential.
Many can’t see
that their destiny
brims with communistic potential.
At one word she does jeer
for it fills her with fear,
but I think it’s just divine.
Let’s rise up and cheer.

The perfect pace
of His comforting grace
has brought me thru many a trial.
Whate’er I face
as I run life’s race,
He aids me to go the next mile.
My God makes it known
that I’m never alone.
I’ve never by Him been forsaken.
My mind’s often blown
with the wonders He’s shown.
By blessings I am overtaken.
He’s that constant friend
on whom I depend,
in sunshine and in rain.
He’s faithful to send
the ideal blend
to my life, both joy and pain.
I’m fully persuaded
each day I am aided
by the Writer of my life’s story.
I have anticipated
with breath that is bated
for that moment I’ll see Him in glory.

With rioting, looting, as they scream and curse
BUT CONTINUE
Through lies, propaganda, the simple ,deceiving
And through self deception their own myths believing
Diabolical iniquity their minds are conceiving
BUT CONTINUE
It’s a spiritual battle, be this understood
Of those calling good, evil and evil, good
Wanting to bring crime to your neighborhood.
BUT CONTINUE
Continue in the Word of God you have learned.
Continue in righteousness. Let sin be spurned.
Continue in Scripture to sink your roots deep.
Continue in wakefulness. Don’t fall asleep.
Continue in doctrine and to it take heed.
Continue in witnessing, sowing good seed.
Continue when you feel at the end of your rope.
Continue, for you have a lively hope.
Continue though the course of this world takes its toll
till you reach the end of faith; the salvation of your soul.

for accepting forced facial coverings is just too much to ask.
No, I will not get used to it, oppositions of falsely called science.
Although it is often promoted, I raise my voice in defiance.
No, I will not get used to it; mainstream media lies that I hear.
I reject the constant fear mongering. To their voice I turn a deaf ear.
No, I will not get used to it. I don’t want to defund our police.
It’s indecent and lacking in common sense. The idea just plain needs to cease.
