Beginning on October 1st, please submit a previously written story or poem or write an original with a theme of the season, and Writers Unite! will post all stories on the WU! blog in a collection published on Oct 25th.
Any previously written story in the Halloween or spooky/horror genre or one written from various WU! prompts
Story word count: 100 to 3000 words.
Poem word count: Limericks (keep them PG), Haiku are acceptable, and poems to 500 words.
Please edit your story or poem. We will not be editing any of the submissions.
You do not have to be a member of Writers Unite! on Facebook. Anyone may submit a story to writersunite16@gmail.com or IM Deborah Ratliff on Facebook. Please put October Witching Hour as the subject.
Deadline: October 23, 2022 Stories will be published on the WU! blog on October 25, 2022.
We will be providing prompts in the theme all month, including the Write the Story!,What’s Next?, and Drabble Me This! exercises and random prompts. Submit WTS entries as usual, via IM to Deborah Ratliff or via email, writersunite16@gmail.com. The WTS prompt will be posted on October 1, 2022.
There are no prizes other than the opportunity to have fun and have your story or poem published on the blog. We do encourage you to edit your stories as we will not be editing them.
