In 2027, Birds New Zealand will be hosting the 14th Australasian Ornithological Conference (AOC) in Auckland, from 18-20 February, in conjunction with BirdLife Australia. This will be the largest biennial gathering of enthusiastic amateur and professional ornithologists and avian researchers from Australasia, New Zealand and beyond! Birds New Zealand are pleased to support students travelling from New Zealand to present at the AOC with AOC Student Travel Grants.

The 87th AGM of Birds New Zealand will be held virtually in 2027, date to be determined.

The next New Zealand Bird Conference will be held 3-5 June 2028, location to be announced later this year.
