The room was exactly like the pictures; cute, comfy, cozy, and very spacious. It was also quiet and we had a great night's sleep. The shower & bath room is also so much bigger than we expected and it's very clean.
The lady of the house is so warm and welcoming. I'm sure it's not easy hosting two foreigners that can't speak Japanese, but she did an incredible job making us feel welcome and comfortable.
My wife and I stayed here for one night during our honeymoon and this really ended up being a highlight of our trip.
The husband spent a decade cooking abroad and brought that experience home with him. To say the food is exceptional is an understatement; breakfast and dinner were among the best meals we've ever had. Everything from the presentation, quality of ingredients, and execution of the cooking was perfect.
The husband and wife duo are incredibly talented, and I'm so happy we got to experience their place. We will be thinking about this experience for a long time.

Such a gorgeous hotel! Loved the communal seating areas, and comfortable rooms. One of the best baths in a hotel room yet - was very luxurious.
Well located, just around the corner from Omicho market, and too long of a walk to the geisha district and Kenrokuen Garden.
Loved the udon supper service!

Absolutely everything was perfect. The loveliest hosts, Rika and Gareth, who were supportive, personable and friendly throughout. The food was absolutely delicious! We even shared an amazing Christmas dinner together with the hosts and other guests. The location and facilities were perfect. The hosts are by far the warmest, most supportive and caring hosts we have ever experienced and they will do absolutely everything to ensure that their guests are comfortable, happy and instantly feel at home. Whether that be helping with organization and logistics, helping with travel drops, huge efforts to provide the best service: genuine smiles and conversations and sincere interest in you as visitors to their home. The best hotel I’ve ever been to! Thanks to the wonderful care of the owners and staff, every detail was thoughtful and well taken care of. We have traveled in different countries with our kids and this is our second time in Japan. The staff was by far the best in anywhere around the world and in Japan. They even took us to station and helped to put our luggage in lockers and buy our tickets. It is so close to public transport and at the heart of Dotonbori so good meal is in reach as well as troustic attractions.

Fantastic accommodation and incredible location by the entrance to the Senso-Ji temple. We stayed at the start and end of our holiday and it was our favorite accommodation. All the staff are so welcoming.
