Hotels in the Maldives

This was our first trip to the Maldives, and I am very happy that we were guests at Handhuvaru Hotel. When we arrived at the hotel, we were welcomed with a very beautiful bouquet made of shells and treated to a fresh coconut. The food was prepared fresh and individually for each guest. I truly enjoyed everything that the hotel’s chef prepared. The beach is large and clean, only 3 minutes away from the hotel. The rooms are very clean and modern. There is everything needed for guests’ comfort. The hotel offers different excursions, and we are very happy that we joined one and visited a nearby island. There we saw a sea turtle and dolphins. The hotel staff organized a BBQ party for us in honor of the New Year (for free), and it was amazing. We had a great evening, and they also treated us with a cake. I really enjoyed staying at this hotel for all 12 days. Everything was organized at the highest level. At the end of our stay, the manager gave us a beautiful collectible wooden boat as a gift. I would like to thank the management and the staff for making this holiday the best and truly unforgettable.

Very friendly staff and owners, always greeting us with a smile and catering to our needs. The hotel is brand new and has many nice details, for example, every night the tables were set up on the beach so you could have a romantic dinner. Also, the beach is beautiful and amazing for snorkeling. Almost no tourists on the island so it truly felt like a private get-away. Highly highly reccomend going here - the experience is much better than the classic resorts. We hope to come back!

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel and couldn’t be happier with my experience. The hotel is brand new, with spacious rooms that are beautifully designed, spotlessly clean, and incredibly comfortable. Everything feels fresh and thoughtfully arranged. It is very quiet and cozy — perfect for families, couples, and even solo adventurers looking for a peaceful getaway. The food is simply fantastic. Special thanks to the chef, who carefully considered all of my dietary requirements and exceeded my expectations. Every meal was delicious and prepared with great attention to detail. The staff truly made the experience exceptional. They are amazingly kind, calm, and gentle people who take care of their guests as if they were family. Their warmth and hospitality create such a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. The location is perfect — just 20 seconds from the beach! The hotel also provides beach towels and a spacious fancy beach bag, bicycles for guests, making it easy and fun to explore the entire island in about 10 minutes. It was a truly wonderful stay, and I am extremely satisfied. I would gladly return and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, tranquility, and genuine hospitality.

Property is very new and well maintained, very comfy beds and pillows, very clean rooms. Staff was very helpful and tolerant with all our questions and made our stay wonderful, staff will assist you with any trip or rentals you need. Seeyyam took excellent care of us and was always ready to assist even on WhatsApp throughout the day.

All of the staff were very nice and caring, all the dives were amazing, very quiet and chill environment. Meals are amazing! All the three of them.

Place is new and modern, Staff is very friendly, there were 3 gentleman running the place, they were very helpful. We used bikes to go round the island.

I spent four nights at the Isle Royal Inn and loved every minute. The location is perfect, just 10 minutes walk to the dive centres. The room was big and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was delicious. However the best thing was the staff. Nirmal was so lovely and helped with anything I needed. He went above and beyond. Great recommendations for places to eat or things to see and he managed to find me a bicycle so I could explore the island (to the top of the island it was about 30 minutes cycle). He’s so kind. Additionally Afshan helped me book a ferry from Gan before I arrived which was so helpful. I would 100% stay here again if visiting Fuvahmulah in the future.

That was one of the best experiences of my life. The best staff in Maldives, they take care of everything. Magic adventures. highly recommend it, live you guys and see you soon ❤️

Our stay at Chillax Thoddoo was excellent. The owner of the guesthouse, Musa, arranged for us to be transferred from Male to the island and to the guesthouse. We were greeted with coconut drinks. The guesthouse is very cozy, the room was cleaned every day, there was hot water, and the food was simple but nutritious and delicious. We would like to express our gratitude to Musa and his staff for their assistance and advice, as well as for organizing our birthday party in the room. We were very pleased and will definitely return.
