The property was beautiful and relaxing. The staff, especially Theodora and Ioahna (I’m not sure on the spelling) went over and above to make our stay fantastic. They were friendly and accommodating. One of the best stays I’ve had at any property. Theodora and Gianna were both welcoming throughout our stay. They both made the effort to get to know everyone and ensure we have a great experience. We booked the superior suite and let me tell you, the room was better than what I imagined. I never wanted to leave the room! Additionally, if you’re looking for a unique breakfast experience this is the place to stay. Each morning the breakfast is different and made by Gianna. You receive a board of different local pastries, jams, meats, and cheese. Everything was delicious. The location was also amazing, with plenty of restaurants and beach bars steps always. They also have some beach chairs if your are interested in spending some time on the beach. If you’re looking for a unique experience, a beautiful property, and employees who care this is the place to stay in Thassos. My only regret is not booking early enough for a longer stay. I can’t wait to stay at Meli Suites again!

The resort is clean and nicely maintened. The staff are very polite. It has its own beautiful Sandy beach, available spaces to lay down, sit, including towels, waiters serving drinks and food on the beach. The sea itself is so clean and nice for swimming. There is also a pool but we didn't even use it, since the beach was better, although the pool looks very nice. Breakfast was great, a variety of tasty food in abundance. The bed was comfortable and the room was cleaned every single day: clean towels, sheets. The environment was safe, friendly and quiet.

Had one of the best sea views from the spacious balcony of the apartment I stayed in- which also sets the standard of cleanliness for a 5* hotel. The staff was always eager to help and helped everyone feel truly on vacation while enjoying the great food from both restaurants- and especially the fresh fish from the Taverna. The resort had amenities for all tastes, from a ping pong table to a beach bar, and, given its isolated location in a private bay, it creates the environment of relaxation I always longed for in a vacation.

The hotel was amazing. It is right in front of a great beach which is sandy and really quiet with clean water. As hotel guests we did not pay any extra money to use the sunbeds and umbrellas which was great. Our rooms were even better than what we saw in the pictures. The hotel provided every room with complimentary wine, water and fruits. The staff in the reception and in the dining halls were magnificent and really helpful. We have dined in the hotel's restaurant which also had great food for good prices.

The location is very convenient in a quite part of town close to the Kavala ferries. The private beach area is very comfortable and well kept with food and snacks. We didn’t even use the pool because we were so comfortable by the beach. The staff was kind and attentive. Helen in the front desk was very helpful. And when I needed something taken care of her and the hotel manager did their best to accommodate.

Limenas is the best location to stay in Thassos especially if you have kids. Everything is near walking distance restaurants and supermarkets. Beautiful beaches. Amazing fresh fish. And if you want to have meat its worth visiting Theologou village where they have lovely restaurants for meat.

A place to be avoided, small and very crowded. You have everything in one small place, some people may like this, I don't. As a side note, food in all restaurants not as good as years ago in Thassos, I was tempted to say "fast-food style", but fast-food is good compared.

Ideal for quiet and peaceful vacation. Small place yet it has everything one might need. I did not see any pharmacy, though. I would highly recommend small beach and the Bikini beach bar. Good food at Faros snack bar. Relaxing atmosphere and good service

Prinos is probably the most boring and not so pretty place...

Prinos is probably the most boring and not so pretty place on Thassos so I wouldn't stay there again even though the appartment we staied in was nice and the hosts were great. Near by there are nicer locations and if you don't mind the view and the village and travel all over the island, Prinos can be a place for just sleeping. It is cheaper to eat out compared to Potos for example. So not too bad, but if you are looking for a pretty Greek village - that is not the one :)

This location is a gem.

This location is a gem. Beach is awesome, you can travel to other locations, food is out of this world. Value for dollar is magic. The best food for the least cost. How this can be? The souvlaki at ZIAFET GYROS, GRILL, ruined all souvlaki for me. Their staff is out of this world. Unfair. They made us go back night after night, even when we wanted to try other places. Had to do take out from the other locations.

Skala Rachoniou is a nice and quiet, small place. Excellent for vacation and relaxation. Plenty of crystal, cool sea water with exceptional small size beaches located next to each other. Tasty traditional Greek cuisine offered from several tavernas in a close walking distance. Nice bakery located downtown on the main road. Supermarkets available as well. Nice boutique hotels and villas everywhere.

You always need to go there either with a car, or rent an ATV/buggy. There is a shop closeby with very good prices, though not much diversity. 10 minutes with a car you have Potos (or w/e the name). It's a city, where you can rent a boat, go to a supermarket, buy gyros etc. There are amazing beaches 5-10 minutes (with a car) away. Just check on google maps/apple maps etc. If you are going to Thassos you NEED a vehicle. There are no sidewalks, and the distances may not seem far, but it's a very rough terrain.

Skala Kallirachis is very small town. Not for young people actully for familly is good. We have there supermarket, bakery and also a lot of restaurant. Price is not hight or not low. And also very near port have beach is very nice and not too much crowd. İf you not have private car your job is not easy. You can reny bike and motor or car. But for this you can go prinos port. Discover bus time from Skala Kallirachis city centre and ask personal.

Cozy village, everything is within 5 min walk, Lagos tavern is amazing place to eat, very tasty food and nice people. You have a olive and olive oil/products shop within the center area, also you can get olive oil from the bakery as they have their own production. If not displayed, ask for it, very good price and quality. The streets are narrow and steep so don't travel with a sports car :) especially on the ferryboat. The ice-cream is very good at Violet, we had a habit of visiting them after dinner (guilty pleasure), try the Kinder flavor. The beach with the water park is better for families with children, the water has less and smaller rocks when entering, calm water, very nice sunbeds (choose as of 2nd row - 20 eur/day with drinks included. 1st row is 50 but if you want to eat also it will come to that at the end of the day). Search for the kalapoki man (fried corn :) ), my son loved him, or the doughnut man (huge portions). It's a perfect location if you want to relax, be away from the crowded streets and just sunbathe, eat, sleep :) for more action you can go for a 10 min drive to the next village where you also have shops, more taverns, the port and more of a night life.

If you are looking for night entertainment - it is clear, Limenas will not be to your taste. But if you want relaxation, and a location close to beaches like Marble Beach or taverns with very good food, this is the right place.
