and I've been all over the world,
but this is my first time in Thailand.
I figured no one is better suited to show me around
than the very people who have lived here all their lives.

A floating market?

Yeah. This floating market
called Damnoen Saduak.
Damnoen is mean move around,
Yeah. and Saduak mean easy.
This is only the floating market in Thailand.
Really? Yeah.
I think more than a hundred years until now.
[Matt] Oh, mango sticky rice.
[Rujira] This is the queen
of mango sticky rice. The queen
of mango sticky rice.

We have many, many type of the mango,
Yes. but this one,
the long one,
Right. yeah, we call Nam Doc Mai.

people use for swim.
It has so many different purposes.

Talad, it's mean market.

for the Thai people we know very well.
We got the Michelin Award,
it became to be the Thai authentic food.

It doesn't feel so heavy.

the second one of our Michelin eighth years,
by the clear soup
Yes. and the egg noodle
with the fish bowl.
This is the signature of 80 years ago
when the first generation came from China.

These noodles are so beautiful and like,
so delicate,
but the texture is so chewy,
Mm-hmm. so rich in flavor.
It's like the more you chew,
the more flavor comes out.
The real meat of fish,
they don't mix any flavor
of the flour.
[Matt] It's just the fish.
That's only the fish. Amazing.
That's what I love about street food.
Like it doesn't matter how much money you make.
Mm-hmm. Good food is good food.
Yes, exactly.

We call it snack.
The flavor is similar like donut
mixed with the churros! Churros?
