Flag version 3 introduces flags as entities. Besides, they refactored flag_get_content_flags to flag_get_entity_flags. In the sharedcontent_flag_value_get() we need to call appropriate function based on the flag version.

Maybe doing some in depth testing with flag 3.x could be appropriate as well.
