Eurofound is funded from the Community budget. The latest budget for 2025 amounts to €25,200,000. The Commission decides on the appropriate funding and inserts the amount in its Draft Budget. In July, the Council of the EU decides on a Draft Budget which is submitted to the European Parliament(opens in new tab)This link opens in a new tab for approval. Following decisions of the European Parliament and the Council and a possible conciliation procedure, the budget should be approved in November or at the latest in December.

The European Court of Auditors(opens in new tab)This link opens in a new tab examines the accounts of all revenue and expenditure of Eurofound and publishes an annual report on the financial statements of Eurofound. The latest report on budgetary and financial management and the annual accounts are available below.

The Financial Regulation of Eurofound was adopted by the Management Board in August 2019.
