On 14 July 2026, ENVI members held an exchange of views on the ongoing accession negotiations of Chapter 27 dedicated to environment and climate change. This exchange of views took place in the context of possible projects to be carried out of the Vjosa–Narta protected area in Albania.

On 14 July 2026, ENVI Members held an exchange of views with the Commission on the interlinkages between gender, climate and health. The discussion focused on how climate change and environmental degradation interact with existing gender inequalities and generate differentiated health impacts.
