Kuulemiset
Valiokunta voi kuulla asiantuntijoita, jos se katsotaan välttämättömäksi tietyn asian käsittelyn kannalta. Kaksi valiokuntaa tai useampi valiokunta voi myös pitää yhteisen kuulemistilaisuuden. Useimmat valiokunnat järjestävät säännöllisesti kuulemistilaisuuksia, sillä ne antavat mahdollisuuden kuulla asiantuntijoita ja käydä keskusteluja keskeisistä kysymyksistä.
