Dear Arvid,
Thank you very much for your kind words—and, above all, for everything you have done for FlatPress over the past almost eight years.
You have not only advanced the project technically, but also given it a face through your open, friendly, and dependable manner. You brought people from all over the world together, reviewed contributions, fixed bugs, prepared releases, answered questions, and ensured that FlatPress remained alive after all these years. You can truly be proud of that.
I would also like to thank you for the great trust you have placed in me by officially handing over responsibility for the entire project. It is a great honour for me—and, at the same time, a responsibility that I approach with deep respect.
I will continue to lead FlatPress with the same enthusiasm that I have brought to the project over the past months: preserving what has proven valuable, implementing necessary modernisations with care, and always ensuring that FlatPress remains what makes it special—a lightweight, independent, and user-friendly flat-file CMS.
FlatPress, however, is much more than its code. The project lives through the people who report bugs, contribute translations, develop plugins and themes, help others in the forum, or simply share their experiences. I would therefore like to extend the same invitation to everyone: anyone who would like to support FlatPress or actively contribute to its future is always very welcome.
Dear Arvid, I wish you all the very best as you enjoy your newly gained free time. I sincerely hope that you will remain connected to FlatPress and visit us from time to time. The door will, of course, always be open to you.
Thank you for everything you have built and for making the future of FlatPress possible. I will do my very best to continue this special project in the spirit in which you have led it—and together with the community.
All the best, and see you soon!
Frank / Fraenkiman
