Факт е, че тази книга развива тема, която е не само драматична сама по себе си, но и такава, за която трудно се говори, както от преживелите я така и от хората около тях. Жертвата изпитва вина без да е виновна, а всички останали се чудят дали наистина е жертва или е предизвикала случилото се с поведение, с жест, с дума, с нещо друго. Става въпрос за изнасилването и как хората се държат в такава ситуация. Само заради тежката тема и заради последните 50 страници давам оценка 4*, иначе самото повествование ми тегавееше и се чудех между 2 или 3 да дам. На моменти прекалено лековерна в разказа, на моменти дори повърхностна доста бавно ми вървеше. Много рязко се прескачаше от едно действие в друго в отделните абзаци, което ме дразнеше. Както се разказваше за едно изведнъж в съвсем друга посока отиваше действието. Адмирации за най-добрата приятелка. Ерин направи всичко, за да подкрепи Жаклин след като Бък се опита да я изнасили, а такива истински приятелки са малко.

Още от самото начало се досетих, че Лангдън и Лукас са един и същ човек и ме дразнеше това, колко лековерни си представя читателите си авторката. Беше много плоско и не разбрах как двамата с Жаклин се влюбиха един в друг. Но пък Лукас има също много драматична история и си мисля, че втора част ще ми хареса повече.
