This is a series for those who love dogs with sweet stories of pups and their owners. These stories are set in Dragonfly Cove on the Gulf coast of Florida with calming beach scenes of sand and surf and pet friendly businesses. Melody moved to Dragonfly Cove to work as a manager at the local picturesque inn after a heartbreaking divorce, needing a new start. Adopting a lab puppy helps with the healing process. Ethan, the owner of the inn, needs some healing himself. This is a sweet and heartwarming story of love, new beginnings, and overcoming past hurts.

Each story has some real life issues set along with the joy of getting a puppy. Each story has just made me want a puppy more.

Unleashed Melody is another great story in a new series written by a bunch of writers each one about a puppy adopted by their human parent who has been dealing with their own grief of a loss. Puppy has been a great companion and helped to heal and form the best friendship not only between the two of them but also with people who came into their life.
Melody and Ethan’s story was so inspiring and heartwarming and so touching with its ups and downs and everything in between. Laughter and tears. New friendships formed throughout this story make it adorable. I absolutely loved it and recommend it to everyone who loves dogs.

“Unleashed Melody” is a Hallmark movie in book form. I could totally relate to Melody’s experience starting over in life and a puppy bringing you the peace, exercise and friendships that you are looking for. I found myself laughing at puppy antics and appreciating the life I have now. Love this story!

Melody packs up and moves, looking for a new start after a sudden divorce. Ethan takes over a B&B after his wife’s passing. Both are slowly healing, thanks to adorable Willow, but will sparks fly?
Another sweet story with likable and relatable characters and an adorable puppy working her magic. This book is about moving on and building a new life after heartache. You will be cheering on the characters and wishing for the best. The best part of this series is being introduced to new authors. The worst, my TBR list just got longer.

I’ve loved every book Julie has written, and this sweet, heartfelt story is no exception.
When she learns her husband is having an affair, with one of her own coworkers, Melody gets a divorce and moves from her hometown in Ohio to the small town of Dragonfly Cove, Florida with the goal to start over and indeed she has done that. She left her hotel management position and has a new job at the Sunny Cove Inn. She hasn’t had much contact with her new boss, Ethan, having had a phone interview and since her arrival it seems his preferred method of communication is leaving her sticky notes.
Her new life also includes the adoption of Willow, a sweet female Labrador puppy. Many locations in Dragonfly Cove are dog friendly, including the Inn, so Willow goes to work with Melody. The Inn could use some updating and some brightening up and Melody takes on the project very slowly, hoping that Ethan will approve some minor improvements.
Although Melody is a talented photographer, she hadn’t picked up her camera since the divorce. She begins taking pictures of Willow with her phone and slowly gravitates back to her beloved camera. Soon her photos grace not only the walls of the Inn, but also the local hangout, Barks & Brews. Although the relationship with Ethan is still somewhat strained, Melody feels she is slowly beginning to live again. When she learns that Ethan’s wife, the former owner of the Inn died only a year ago, she extends him some grace since it is obvious he is still grieving.
This is a beautifully written, fast-paced story that touched my heart right from start and all the way until the last page was turned. The characters are loveable and memorable. The sweet puppies enhance the lives of those who love them and demonstrates the difference dogs can make in the lives of many. Julie’s stories are enthralling and never disappoint.

Unleashed Melody by Julie Carobini is book seven in the Dragonfly Cove Dog Park series. Book one is Pick of the Litter and is a free download. It will give you a taste of what all of the books are about. We are also introduced to Leslie who is the breeder of a beautiful litter of yellow Labrador Retriever puppies. This series tells us the story of where all of the puppies wind up in their forever homes.
Unleashed Melody is the story of Melody and Willow. Melody is recovering from a break up and adopts Willow. She has moved to Dragonfly Cove and is managing a cute little Inn. The owner's name is Ethan and he is a little hard to put up with. This man runs hot and cold. I have to hand it to Melody. I may not have lasted very long in her position. The job does come with a studio apartment.
I liked this book and the interaction with patrons and the residents of the town. We get to know them in different ways. That is one of the things I like about the series is that we see some of the same interactions from different eyes. Not so many that you feel like you are reading the same book over and over. Just enough to tie things together and to make the books feel cohesive.
If you love series like I do, you should definitely download the first book and then start binge reading the rest of them. I had a hard time putting them down to read other books I committed to. It made me hurry back to them. Until next time…Happy Reading!

When she starts her job she is doing well until she starts butting heads with widowed boss, Ethan Reed . Melody and Willow must try and find a way to make sure the inn is running smoothly and her ideas to fix the inn and not step on Ethan's toes . Willow will bring them together in more ways than one. They will find out their way into each others hearts with a tail wag or two to help them out.

A really lovely story about Melody who came to Dragonfly Cove, where she needed a new start in life. Melody needed to leave her earlier life behind and finds her new job and home at the Sunny Cove Inn. The owner of the Inn is Ethan Reed. It is great storytelling and some of the characters are new in this story and several come back from earlier books in the series. This book has one particular thing in common with previous books and that is the yellow fluff called Willow. For Melody it is very new to own her own puppy since she's never ever had one. Mel has her mission with her new job at the inn and also discovers so many new things along the road. There are a few bumps here and there however, she finds new friends and her life is looking-up. It' s a sweet story of new beginnings and Mel really has to fight for her beliefs. Mel and her puppy Willow grow together and are an amazing team. I truly enjoyed this book and the pleasant storytelling and being a true dog owner and lover it is wonderful to read about Willow's adventures.

Melody used to work at a big hotel, but when her marriage fell apart, she took on a role as the manager of a small, family owned inn. The owner was a grieving widower and he was reclusive. Melody adopted a dog to live with her in her studio apartment at the inn. Slowly she began to find small ways to improve the inn and her pup joined her in the lobby, where she was welcomed by guests and the owner. However, the owner was reluctant to make some changes so Melody was frequently on edge.
As she and the pup got out and made friends, Melody began taking photographs again, a past hobby that had been abandoned. When she got a lot of compliments on her work, she began sharing the photos.

Unleashed Melody is the first book I remember reading written by Julie Carobini. Part of the Dragonfly Cove Dog Park Series, this is a fun read. While Melody is starting over in Florida, she has much experience in the hospitality field. Managing the Sunny Cove Inn showcases her expertise as well as her love of her work. A fun read to see her at work and to have her little puppy, Willow with her. Ethan, the inn’s owner has some healing to do too. The story does not make light of it but it was sad to see the problems that he brought to the story. Willow is not only a help for Melody but for others too. A great introduction to a new author that I will be on the lookout for more books written by her.
While Unleashed Melody does not have as strong a ties to the other books as some do, perhaps it is best to read in order. Be sure to purchase the first book, Pick of the Litter, which is an overview of the entire series. Right now, it is free.

While Unleashed Melody does not have as strong a ties to the other books as some do, perhaps it is best to read in order. Be sure to purchase the first book, Pick of the Litter, which is an overview of the entire series. Right now, it is free.

Most Hallmarkie Book In Series. In a series built basically specifically for dog lovers who also enjoy women's fiction/ romance type tales, this is perhaps the single most "Hallmark Movie" like book in the entire series - and it actually sticks out from the series because of it. More self contained than many of the other books in the series, it really works quite well as a corporate/ office type romance that happens to involve owning and running a boutique hotel in a small beach town. But it also has some of the "problems" (according to some) of many Hallmark movies - including the seeming inevitable third act drama. Still, the tale really is quite solid in itself, and as one of the shorter books in the series it *really* packs quite a bit of story into the few (sub 150) pages it has.

Unleashed Melody is book seven in the wonderful Dragonfly Cove Dog Park series. Each book is a delightful stand-alone by a different author but all books are connected with regular characters throughout all the books.
Willow chose Melody to be her human. Together they make a new start at the Sunny Cove Inn despite the aloof Ethan micromanaging her every move. Slowly but surely Willow charms everyone she meets and even Ethan is not immune to her charming puppy antics.
A story of change, friendships and new beginnings and the power of a dogs love and trust. This is a great read with wonderful characters, both new to this book and some from previous books in the series. Willow is adorable and is definitely the star of this book.
I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book and definitely recommend it and all the books in this series.

Unleashed Melody is a clean, heartwarming romance with a Labrador matchmaker! I love how these amazing dogs heal hearts and create community, friendships and family. Melody loves the town, the inn, her studio apartment and her new puppy. What she does not like is the endless stream of middle of the might post-its from the boss she has never met. As she eases in to making some changes at the inn, focusing on raising Willow helps her resume her lapsed love of photography. As Melody slowly recovers from being betrayed, she makes friends, finds her confidence, is recognized as a brilliant photographer and slowly develops a relationship with her boss, Ethan. This well written book is another great addition to the series.

Melody moves to Dragonfly Cove after her marriage implodes. She used to love to take photographs but has hung up her camera. The desire just isn't there anymore. She takes a job managing the local Inn and sets about making the place more modern and more lucrative. The Inn's owner is living in the past and is reluctant to allow the changes that might help his failing Inn. Willow is one of Leslie's recent batch of puppies and a wonderful companion, but Melody finds some of her training a bit of a challenge. When Willow has an accident on the foyer rug, Ethan banishes her from the Inn. How can Melody get them both back into Ethan's good graces?

This is one more book in a fantastic series. These puppies all worm their way into your heart! I love that these are all stand alone stories but there are bits and pieces from the other books carried through. Melody has arrived in Dragonfly Cove to start again. She is working as a manager at the Sunny Cove Inn and she adopts her puppy, Willow. She hasn’t had much contact with the owner, Ethan, other than the sticky notes he leaves for her. She is slowly making some changes and sometimes he approves, other times he doesn’t. She finally realizes that he is dealing with his grief at the loss of his wife. A wonderful, heartwarming story!

Mel, short for Melodie,left Ohio after her divorce from Scot, and took a job in Dragonfly Cove, Florida. She was now the manager of Sunny Cove Inn and she adopted one of Leslie's puppies and named her Willow. I liked how Willow helped to fill that lonely ache in Mel as she tried to heal from her divorce and her cheating husband who was now running for mayor in Ohio.
It was fun watching Mel blossom in her job and how Willow helped her heal and make many new friends. She also picked up her love for photography that she had set on a shelf.

Such a well written, warm book. Poor Melody has been betrayed by the man she thought she was going to spend the rest of her life with, but she caught him (in her own photograph) being unfaithful. She leaves and travels 1,000 miles to get away, becoming an innkeeper in Florida. There she blossoms, gets her heart healed, tries new things, (she was scared of dogs, but gets given a precious pup), realizes that the love of her girl was one huge thing that had been missing from her life, stands up for herself, and falls in love!! Everyone needs to read this wholesome book, whether or not you currently own a pet. I received this book early as an arc reader, and this is my honest opinion! 💖🐶💘

But Melody works for Ethan at a small hotel who leaves her sticky notes on things needed to be done at the hotel that she manages for him! Will he ever trust her to manage the hotel? Read this and see.
The pace is engrossing and the tone is hopeful with a character centered storyline. The characters are vivid and engaging. I don't think I could ignore my ex and all that he did, like Melody did. This is a good story, but I do recommend you read this series in order.

This is book 7 of the Dragonfly Cove series. Julie Carboni brings us Melody Fischer who has just moved to Dragonfly Cove after divorcing her husband. She reluctantly adopts Willow and soon can’t believe how much the puppy helps her. She has moved to take the manager job at a small and quaint inn. She starts making subtle changes much to Ethan’s-the owner-chagrin. Melody also gets back into her love of photography-she hangs her pictures in both the inn and at Barks and Brews and gets rave reviews.

Book 7 of the Dragonfly Dog Park series didn’t disappoint. Melody ran from her old life. Her husband cheated on her so they divorced and she moved to Dragonfly Cove to run an Inn. Melody also decides to adopt a puppy from Leslie’s litter and names her Willow. Ethan was the owner and not very pleasant. Melody saw so much potential in the Inn and with the encouragement of her friend and coworker Maria started making a few changes. Melody brought so much more to her friends and community than she ever thought she would. This is a great story about friendship? Love and moving on.

Thank you, Julie Carobini, for another wonderful tail! This is book #7 in a nine book collaboration of founding members of the Facebook group "My Book Friends." The premise is a nine puppy litter of yellow labrador retrievers finding their forever homes. Each book tells the story of a puppy and their new person(s). Book #7 is about a sweet pup named Willow. This series can be read in sequence or not. They are all just wonderful, heartwarming tails.

This was a great story that meshed perfectly with the entire series. Wonderful characters, wonderful location and of course - there are the dogs. The characters crossed over not just from story to story within the series but from other stories the authors have written. A fantastic writing concept! I was fortunate to have been given the opportunity to be an advanced reader which enabled me to read them all right away and I’m sure once you read the first one, you’ll want to keep right on reading. Enjoy!!
