Krupskaya was born in Saint Petersburg to an aristocratic family that had descended into poverty, and she developed strong views about improving the lives of the poor.

January 23, 2026Levaba eones sen actualizalo pero remateino. En xeral unha serie de artigos moi interesantes sobre a figura de Lenin, pero gustoume moito mais que iso as partes nas que Krupskaya aborda a tematica sobre como aprender de xeito autónomo (son ese) e como lograr extraer o máximo tanto dos libros como das esferas do saber. Penso, que aínda sendo algo que todos coñecemos (crear habitos, ter un bo entorno de traballo, anotar sobre o que se vai lendo, pero non copiando senón aquilo que sexa o relevante e sobre todo ir correxindose, revisando, releendo, e o mais importante, que iso perme a algo, que se execute no mundo dalgún xeito) na forma que esta escrito fixoseme moi ameno. A mellor parte pareceume cando fala sobre observar o mundo. Moitas veces cando queremos saber ou ler sobre un autor, quedamonos só nas súas letras sen buscar comprender como estes viviron, o que nos leva a sensación de alienación. Eles tamén tiveron dificultades e momentos malos. Debemos saber das súas vidas tanto como das súas obras, para coñecer, pero sobre todo en relación a nós mesmos. Observar o que temos ao redor, facendonós preguntas, sendo curiosos e sobre todo, escribindo ao respecto: nun diario, non movil onde sexa, pero lograr por en palabras o que esa experiencia nos pareceu. Experimentar en definitva ao máximo, legando o noso camiñar ao futuro. Vivir sendo unha persoa completa.

Krupskaya has been sadly most known in history as "Lenin's widow" instead of the Soviet Unions first kommissar of education, she was also married to Lenin. There is still very much Lenin in this work as well, particularly how he studied, self-education and a different remarks he made when it came to education. Her writing about her experiences with young children and organizing the young worker are a particular highlight. This is an underrated work that I wish went into more detail about creating an education system based upon principles of marxism.

Some good stuff in here, but a lot of repetition. Also seems to be missing some writings referenced in here that would have been more useful than some included. A good portion is devoted to analysis and quoting of Lenin, but it is useful as she contextualizes and draws together quotes on the topic from a variety of sources

Ok collection. The ones on how Lenin studied promote the "he just worked really hard" model of studying. The ones on the problems of organising education and young people in the early USSR raise good questions. The self-education articles have some good advice.
