Αρχικά να πω πως το ξεκίνησα χωρίς μεγάλες προσδοκίες… αυτό είχε ως αποτέλεσμα να με κάνει να κολλήσω περισσότερο γιατί περίμενα κάτι μέτριο. Είχε τα κλισέ του? Ναι. Είχε πρωταγωνίστρια που ήθελα να δείρω? Ναι. Είχε κενά στην πλοκή? Ναι. Το ερωτεύτηκα? Απόλυτα!
Ακολουθούμε την Βαιολετ η οποία είναι η κόρη της στρατηγού μιας πολεμικής Ακαδημίας όπου οι μαθητευόμενοι εκπαιδεύονται για να γίνουν ιππείς δράκων. Αυτά τα πλάσματα όμως έχουν προσωπικότητες και ελεύθερη βούληση πράγμα που σημαίνει πως μόνο εκείνοι θα επιλέξουν ποιοι θα γίνουν οι ιππείς τους.
Το περιβάλλον της Ακαδημίας είναι πολύ σκληρό, οι δοκιμασίες δύσκολες και λίγοι μόνο καταφέρνουν να επιβιώσουν.
Η ιδέα ήταν τόσο καλή που πράγματι κόλλησα! Είχε δράση, έντονα συναισθήματα και ωραίες περιγραφικές σκηνές. Σε βάζει στον ρόλο και είναι αδύνατον να μην νιώσεις την ένταση και την αγωνία της ίδιας της πρωταγωνίστριας.
Μας δίνει ένα δυνατό ερωτικο ειδύλλιο και εκεί κάπου τα ξεχνάς όλα.
Ήταν τόσες οι φορές που είπα «Μας βγες από την Γιαρος» πράγμα που σημαίνει πως αν έχετε διαβάσει σειρά Ακοταρ θα νιώσετε πολύ οικεία…αν όχι τότε τρέξτε!👀
Τώρα σχετικά με το κομμάτι της φαντασίας πέρα απο διάσπαρτες πληροφορίες που παίρνουμε αραιά και που, θεωρώ πως θα ήταν αριστούργημα αν είχε γίνει λίγο πιο σωστή ανάπτυξη του κόσμου. Όσο αφορά την πρωταγωνίστρια… από την αρχή στο μυαλό της κυριαρχούσε το σεξ και ενώ το είχα παραβλέψει αυτό, δεν μου άρεσε το πως άλλαζε η συμπεριφορά της όταν βρισκόταν μπροστά στον Ζειντεν…επίσης για εμένα δεν υπήρχε το trope enemies-lovers. Όσο και να ήθελε να μας πείσει η Βαιολετ, Ο Ζειντεν ήταν ο μόνος χαρακτήρας που δεν ήταν τοξικός!

Το συστήνω σε όποιον θέλει να διαβάσει ένα γρήγορο, καλό ερωτικο μυθιστόρημα φαντασίας!
