I have always loved Mary Baloghs books but this one captivated my attention in waves. There were times were Jasper Monty was to die for and the description of him and his mannerisms... yum! Toward the end, he was a little too much. I understand that they got together on the premise of a wager but his asking if Kate loved him after telling such a compelling story almost ruined it.

Who the hell was invincible? I was forced to complete this book as it was the only paperback I took while traveling for work. The heroes backstory was awesome until it was explained over and over. Carlie was boring, I play video games, but damn she acted like a toddler. This by far was the best in the Connor series. And that's saying a lot since the first book was so good. I didn't think the author could top it! I loved Connor and Ronin but then again the love triangle with Tony still has me rooting for him. The other world that Dormaine G built is a testimony to her writing capabilities. I could literally see myself in Ronins world. And my fingers are crossed for Willow. I can't wait for the next installment.

This is my feel-good romance story though it takes much emotion to get there. Writing Angelique and Franco felt like I was hanging out with old friends. These are two broken spirits with so much passion and the Northern Spain did add a bit of tranquility to the storyline...

e been a fan of Dormaine G since Connor and her wisecracking, action packed ways. The authors ability to write in so many genres is a testament to how well The Innkeepers Daughter is written. The story starts of sexy as hell. I ended up falling for Sterling and Hanna. The ending was an unpredictable delight

I love this authors writing style. Sergio was the man. Antron was a local boss trying to make a come up. And I didn't like that he was cheating on Ayana. I can't wait for more from Ayana and Sergio
